First off, if you're 20 you don't need your mothers info or approval to get health or dental insurance. All you need to do is apply and pay for the policy.

Second, dental insurance is rarely included with health insurance. They are normally two separate policies although some health plans have a dental option that you can purchase.

Third, hospitals and dentist do not give you insurance. You purchase insurance from the insurance company. If you visit a local independent agent you can find out what policies are available in your area from one person.

Fourth, you'll probably be better off not worrying about getting a dental policy. Most dental policies have a waiting period of up to 18 months for major work so if you are in need of a dentist soon the insurance probably won't help you.

You do understand that in case you're 2 many years previous and in good well-being the opportunities of you incurring expenditures in far greater advantageous than your coverage expenditures are very low? At your age you are going to be paying for catastrophic coverage with $2000+ deductibles. there is not any leverage in paying for a well-being plan that if truth be told has a intense factor of pay as you go provider to it (like dental "coverage").

I have Family Health Plus. It's for lower income people who don't qualify for Medicaid although it's a division of Medicaid. They do fillings, extractions and some root canals with crowns for FREE. Look into it.
