Yes.
As a Christian, I have no fear of Jehovah's Witnesses or anyone else who comes to my door telling me that they want to study the Bible with me.
Because I understand the Arian Heresy which has attempted to spread "another Gospel" even prior to Pentecost, and because I understand the Filioque Heresy, I am never confused by visitors who attempt to teach anything other than the persons and the works of The Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Since Christ Jesus was incarnate, died and rose again in humility, to the glory of God the Father, how can I turn down anyone who comes to my door offering to seek the truth of God together in the Holy Scriptures?
I do set the ground rule that they are free to speak first, as long as they agree to listen to me for an equal period of time.
Usually these people have never heard of the almost 2000 year old Orthodox Church, and it is my honor to be able to introduce them to the Apostolic faith of the New Testament Church.

I go and hide, actually, but I do that when anybody's at the door because I'm an anti-social bastard. I actually don't mind JWs too much, although I'm not one and I don't agree with some of what they have to say. I do tend to fall in line with some of their philosophies, at least more so than more mainstream Christian denominations.

I open to door for Witnesses and Mormons and anyone else who wants to chat up religious subjects. I just like talking with them and finding out what they believe (sometimes little things vary from missionary to missionary) and why they believe what they do. If I can help it, I usually try not to discuss my beliefs as I personally don't feel the need to proselytize. Its just an interest of mine and since its taboo to talk about it in "good society" I do it then.

I'm not afraid to open my door, nor do I hate JWs. But quite honestly, we have nothing to talk about. I know ahead of time that they are not interested in dialogue or learning about my beliefs. I am only to listen to theirs, and like "whoseafunnymoose" said, my home is not their pulpit.

No. My home is MY home, not their pulpit.
I don't answer my door when ANYBODY knocks if I don't want to. Even when people know I'm home, I sit quietly watching or doing what I was doing until they go away. Sure they get mad, but I just tell them, "You got a phone? Use it!" They usually end up learning that I value my privacy, and just because THEY want to talk to me RIGHT AWAY, does not mean they'll get their wish all the time.

I would just to ask about their beliefs. I'm not well versed in Jehovah's Witness beliefs, and I would see it as a learning experience.

I sure do....then I ask them if they have anything that will get blood out of the carpet and furniture.....oh my god I didn't know that there would be so much blood......and I ask them if they could help me clean up a few rooms in the house....actually every room in the house......before the people who live here get back.....but they have to promise not to tell anyone, especially the police.....
I usually don't have to say anything more after that point....they leave on their own.
Few things are ruder than to interrupt someone's day to tell them that your God is better than their God, and list the reasons why.

A friend of mine answers the door naked if he knows it's JW or Mormons coming -- never had a repeat of the same people EVER.
