I use to wonder why they would think that about us, but if all they see about the USA are things like that mockery the homosexuals made of the last supper and they believe that we are going to take over there countries and force them to accept new laws that allow their god to be made a mockery of, then can we blame
them for fighting the way they do?

* I'm not saying that I defend them this just crossed my mind and was wondering if any one else had thought about it like that
(my son has been to Iraq and I know other young men that have been there and they have said that it is getting better over there)

I am sorry I should have said Islamic Muslim Terrorist. I do know that all Muslims are not terrorist and that there are terrorist from all walks of life. I was only wondering why they seem to hate us so badly, I mean 9-11 could have happened in any country but they did it here. why was their biggest attack on USA soil there were easer targets but they chose to hit the USA it makes me think that maybe the terrorist think that the USA is the leader of the infidels

my dear, it is not 'terrorist Muslims'. Saying it means that you label all Muslims as terrorist. They are terrorists who happened to misinterpret Islam. Muslims don't kill innocents. and let me clarify. Arabs DO NOT define Islam. Islam is universal. There are even infidel Arabs. But Muslims certainly do not tolerate their God to be made a mockery off, just like any other religions. In the end, we all worship One God, despite of our different ways of worshiping Him.

Fundamentalists are fundamentalists wherever they are.
It does not matter which religion they follow, it does not matter which country they are in.
Islamic fundamentalists regard almost all other Muslims as infidels. They consider only their own narrow sect as true Muslims.
Christian fundamentalists are the exact same. They consider all other Christians as infidels and only there own narrow sect as True Christians.
Both regard their own countries as well as all other secular societies as corrupt. They have been indoctrinated with the idea of an ideal holy state ruled according to their religious viewpoint. These utopias as almost always extreme totalitarian regimes that demand control over even the most private thoughts of their citizens.

The religious disease is not so much Christianity or Islam as it is the fundamentalist mindset.

I read some of the other answers. Nuff said.
One of the funny things is that Saddam ran a strictly secular government. He was hated by the Taliban or what you now call Al Quaeda. He would have executed them out of hand if he had caught them in his Iraq. Saddam might have been a Muslim but there was no enforcement of any state religion.

Now they have a religious civil war going on.

First, an Infidel is a non-believer of Islam. Like a Goy is a non-believer of Judaism. Like a non-Christian is not a believer in Christ.

Would you please explain to me where you learned "like that Muslims mockery the homosexuals made of the last supper." I have never heard of that before. I thought that the mockery of homosexuality was from all of you good "Christians". "the forcing people to accept new laws that allow their religion to be made a mockery of." This is exactly why I get all sort of people telling me to go and find Jesus, accept Christ as my savior and to hell with my own religion.

It is the one sided believe by any religion's people that scare me. Not the average Muslim, not the average Christian, and not the average Jew. It is the people who are absolutely positive that their religion is the only religion and should be followed by all blindly. I assume that God only wants robots who can be programmed to quote Biblical Verses and do what their leader (programmer) wants them to do.

We ought to handle this scourge if immoral unnatural disgusting, evil and perverted habit..... yet, the terrorists use it in simple terms as yet another feather of their cap while killing absolutely everyone who would not worship their god....(devil) no rely what call they provide it... unquestionably, they're so enamerred with their satanic (islamic) concepts that they have got not have been given any difficulty killing even people who share the comparable ideals... they're twisted and we can not make a ryhm or reason that, we can in simple terms know it as evil...in simple terms like homosexuality is EVIL...... i'm no pupil, i'm in simple terms a individual who calls a spade a spade and evil, "evil".

No it doesn't. The Koran tells Muslims that anyone who is not Muslim is an infidel. It is no different than different christian groups killing each other because they believe in a differing philosophy.

In order to understand why most of the world hates Americans all you need to do is to look at our foreign policy over the last 60 years. Once you understand that you will know why we are hated.

Isn't it funny they hate us so bad yet they send their children here by the thousands to attend our colleges and their husbands to open up convenient stores, coffee houses and deli's. God bless America. Land of the free. Deep down inside they wish their country was like ours.

What about the mockery the religious right has made of the constitution and our legal system? I don't know about any Muslims, but that makes me pretty mad...

I think you are a little confused about who is trying to take over who and force people to accept new laws about their God. We are not trying to take over Iraq. We are trying to allow the Iraqi people to take over and not be murdered because they do not accept laws about their God that the ruling party wanted them to believe.

Yes, it must be the homosexuals. They're to blame for everything.

Of course it has nothing to do with longstanding US foreign policy which has supported despotic middle eastern regimes, or with economic exploitation, or with invading sovereign nations, could it?

I do understand why some look at Americana ideology as imbecile if they do not need oil, energy and pay for basic services
