It is fact. Parents give more attention to children that are trouble-makers, rebellious, disobedient...

So, God, as our Creator and father, probably gives more attention to non-believers than us believers.

That's OK for me... I understand that my rebellious brothers and sisters need more attention.

What about you? Do you mind?

The good Shepherd leaves all his sheep and goes out to look for the one who is lost.

In a way I do mind because we are all his childeren and should all be recognised and appreciated...

Yes I am the youngest in my family and my sister is the one who gets all the attention because she is "rebelious" and I always have to sit on the fence or clean up after her... and it gets tiresome.

Just once I would like for the rebelious to take responsibility for their own actions, no matter how hard u try u end up being kicked in the face... or stabbed in the back... so I'm fine by setting examples but I am not fine when my efforts are not recognised because they aren't drastic enough like the rebelious which is total crap.

Not believing in your magic man in the sky does not make me a trouble-maker, rebellious, or disobedient.

That's unfortunately true in our house, also. I'm okay with God giving the rebellious more attention. I'm not out seeking negative attention, so I'm okay. I get my positive reinforcement when I need it.

You must be young. I have 9 brothers and sisters and I learned early not to be jealous of who gets the most attention.
Your question amazes me. I cannot believe it could enter your mind.

I do not mind at all, he is a good father and when I am in need of some extra attention he is always there for me.

About parents really I have observed this but for God no. God loves the gentle and sincere ones but with intelligence and strength (courage or bravery) are more appreciated.

So, a little kid who believes in Jesus but lives in poverty gets overlooked because I'm a heathen? No, I don't agree.

I don't behave the way most others do. I like being different.
