I am not trying to be highly intelligent...i am trying to get you to snap out of your self roghteous delusion and maybe for some of you who do not know God give you a chance for salvation...I know that some cathoics are saved but most are not because they trust the church for salvation. this breaks my heart.

I agree, they do look like fools. And it is because Christians care that we suffer them and try to point out doctrinal error with an honest challenge to refute the claims. Not only with them but with all mind-controlled slaves.Keep up the good work.

Er, exclusivity? You mean like the kind Protestants use when they start crowing about how all Catholics are going to Hell? I suspect you've probably run into one or two elitists, which is what prompted your question. Please don't take that to be the general case, anymore than I take vicious, hateful, and cruel behavior from Protestants to be the general case. There are certain elements of Catholic Mass (the Eucharist) and other Sacraments which we ask non-Catholics not to participate in, but that's because most non-Catholics won't have had the education and preparation to understand and embrace what they're doing. To allow or encourage such untrained participation puts the non-Catholic participant in a position of having to be dishonest to God.

If you receive the Eucharist at Mass, for example, without believing in Transubstatiation and Christ's real presence in that Sacrament, you are in effect telling God that you are unwilling to receive Christ in the Eucharist, but you went ahead and did it anyhow. We do not believe that is the sort of position in which we should put anyone.

Honestly, I've never had anyone, Protestant or otherwise, accuse me of being exclusive because I'm Catholic. I've never accused anyone of "being mean" just because they aren't Catholic. I've never seen any Catholic parish or clergyman who wasn't willing to welcome anyone to the Church with open arms, either to become a member via the appropriate processes or to just experience the Mass and see what it's all about. So no, it doesn't bother me that you think exclusivity is foolish. I think it's foolish too. I think you have a very narrow view of the Catholic Church, and I would encourage you to broaden your horizons. However, if you choose not to, that's okay too. I'll pray for you just the same either way.

Peace and blessings to you.

Sorry, but what is this alleged exclusivity? I think most of the church statements on its relationship with other Christians demonstrate that we consider Protestants to be brothers and sisters in faith. I mean, honestly - why would the church spend so much time on the Lutheran/Catholic joint declaration on justification, if it considered Lutherans to be lepers, or whatever?

Sure, on certain issues we consider our point of view to be more accurate, but why should that surprise? Who among us doesn't tend to think their own viewpoints are supportable?

Again, I'm quite puzzled as to the nature of this question.

The only person here who looks foolish is you. Your endless stream of "questions" that are really insults is getting a bit tedious. I especially love your brilliant rebuttals of posters' comments that say things like, "Daisy, you're wrong," without any evidence or further discussion. It is clear that you do not know what you are talking about, and I think I've had my fill of your insults for one night. I'll turn the other cheek, but only after a good night's sleep.

The Catholic Church is a universal and open Church. If you have been baptized in the Christian faith, you can even take communion. You should come and see. Mass is like every other service, songs, hymns, sermon, communion, no big whoop. Did I mention the beautiful decoration?

So you look highly intelligent with your baseless nonsense? I guess the Catholics would not mind being called a fool by an idiot.

Well, it's clear that someone needs to be snapped out of self-righteousness. But I don't think it's a collective "you".

Since you are so concerned for my eternal soul, why don't you contact me with your questions and allow me to answer. I would welcome the opportunity to inform you of the Roman Catholic Church and her very Biblical beliefs.
