I would tell him this: You cannot pray to someone who is not a god. For example, I can ask my mother for an increase in allowance, and she grants it, it's not an answered prayer. I did not pray to my mother to raise my allowance.

If you prayed for something bad and it happened, it is still God who allowed it to happen. Just read the book of Job. You will find out that Satan even asks God's permission to do harm to a person. Nothing happens without His divine will.

To top it all, John 8:44 refers to satan as the 'father of lies' so if you prayed for something and you get it and you are made to believe that satan answered it, guess who's working is that. The liar of course.

I would have to say that the person who has not accepted Christ as Savior has no right to expect God to answer his prayers.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:6-8:9

I once had a discussion with a mormon, once he finaly answered my question and admited Joseph Smith did not test the spirit that had given him the revelation, he understood that its demons who lead them.

Hopefuly a proper response would a pursuit of spiriutuals that could be tested. And God provides this method.

Christians only believe in GOD and DEVIL, so if it aint the christian god its the devil.

all other faiths are wrong.

thats what they tell me. i dont follow it.

BTW the bible is a BOOK. i dont see gods signature on it.

OMG Marilyn n, the Pagan god isnt an evil being, the christians made Satan in pans image to make pagans turn away from the old religion.
You so didnt explain that well.

Satan never does anything good. Jesus shed His blood and died for my sins. Satan is a liar from the start and he knows his time is short.

I'd suggest you made a mistake programming your speed dial. I've done that before. Very embarrassing when the wrong supernatural entity picks up the call.

I would say that was utterly idiotic.

The person answering your question is pretty freaking well informed if he/she knows the mind of God so well that they can tell us what he's thinking at any given moment...

...Or just pompously arrogant.

I would say to them "Beware the leven of the Pharasees." and "Judge not lest ye be judged."

when i pray to God in Jesus name, according to God's word - His written will....

then He is the only one who can grant the prayer.
.

and it would be satan's job to try and stop it from coming to pass...... i suppose that's where your question comes from.

To me it wouldn't deserve a verbal response.

I might gouge their eyes out though.

You have to test the spirit(s), and worship in spirit and in truth. This is how satan is confounded.
