here's a sight with some testimonials. The ones on this site are pretty upset about it. This site says 85% of
Hispanics are against increased immigration of any
kind, and 57% want immigration reduced.*
The new group You Don't Speak for Me! formed when Col. Al Rodriguez became fed up watching media coverage of the mass protests of April. "Their leaders were saying it was a march for immigrant rights and a Latino/Hispanic movement," says Rodriguez. "I thought to myself, 'Hey, those are illegal aliens, not immigrants!'" Col. Rodriguez began speaking out to others saying, "I'm of Hispanic ancestry and those people are acting like they speak for me. Well, you don't speak for me!"

My husband is Mexican American and he thinks people should enter the US legally. He is against illegal immigration. It's called illegal for a reason. If anyone really wants to go to a country to live then they should follow the law to become a legal resident. He is not against immigration, just illegal immigration. He thinks securing the borders in this day and age that we live in is an okay thing to do. We currently live right along the Mexico border and we see how easy it is to get in the US. He just feels the Mexican border shouldn't be the only concern because there is a northern border too. I hope that helps you. Not all latinos are for illegal immigration and against secure borders. Everyone is going to have their own opinions.

I'm Mexican and I live in my country but I have legal relatives there and they oppose illegal inmigration.
I don't support illegal inmigration either. I mean, I know many people go there looking for better opportunities and I don't blame them for wanting a better life, but that's not the way to do it... I also know that in the US many bussinesses hire illegals and this encourages them to keep going, but I like things being done the right way , I wouldn't go there illegaly, I don't care if they would hire me.
I have never had the need to emigrate, maybe that's why it is easy for me to say this, but I think we hispanics should be more concerned about our goverment giving better opportunities to eveybody here.

No, the media are largely owned by big corporations and they are conservative. These corporations also want the cheap labor the illegal immigrants provide. That's why they keep coming. Most Americans don't like illegal immigration and that includes Hispanics.

Well I know that not all Hispanics are Pro-Illegal Aliens, yeah sadly some are based on the idea of that the illegals are their people (I once had an argument with the daughter of legal Salvadoran immigrants, I told her well since her Parents were legal, their entrance into the USA was ok with me but illegal aliens I have a problem with).
There is one chat buddy who is part Mexican that totally opposes illegal immigration (her Mexican ancestors came into this Country the legal way).
A Mexican immigrant who works in the Schools in my town was called Illegal Alien by I have no idea who it was, but this Woman came in legally and she is in fact a naturalized U.S. citizen as well, so yeah what happened to her was not nice but I know why it happened to her.
The Illegal aliens are really hurting all Hispanics big time, cause Hispanics born in the USA and legal Hispanic immigrants get called Illegal Alien and other names, thanks to those Illegal Aliens.
So henceforth the Illegal Aliens are no friend to U.S. born and Legal immigrant Hispanics at all.

Not that I've seen in Texas. Umbrage and outrage seem to be national pastimes here when the subject comes up. Doesn't matter that most people just want the laws enforced. By the way, the media has a corporate bias, not a liberal one. There are many liberals like myself who feel strongly against illegal immigration.

So are you asserting that the topics on your community are led to easily via Hispanics? here is what could ensue while the unlawful inhabitants decreases: one million. the fee of culmination and greens will bypass up as no US electorate are speeding to fill the fruit choosing jobs that have been taken from us. 2. i think of it relatively is going to help in that folk do no longer could difficulty approximately speaking yet another language. 3. in spite of the certainty that it does fee hospitals to pay for illegals, social secure practices will lose money because of the fact there are no longer any further human beings making use of diverse numbers persistently devoid of gathering retirement. 4. i think of we ought to consistently difficulty extra approximately what comes via airlines than what we get from crossing the border. do no longer forget that there are a number of us electorate traveling Mexico every day. And ultimately... 5. Who do you think of is going to construct the wall??? Mexicans, of direction. My father is from Mexico, and he grew to develop right into a citizen the splendid way, yet attempting to end the unlawful difficulty interior of a few months is like going into Iraq and looking out forward to each little thing to be positive interior of a rely of months. there is unquestionably no way this could ensue.

a tighter border to me would be good for security from threats. to me it would not be to block immigrants coming here to work and a possible better life. to me we need a very very strong border and a way to where people can come here easlily for legitimate reasons. good people shoould be able to come here, they just need to register themselves.

Im Hispanic...born and raised here in the US. But as far illegal immigration, I think it's a window of opportunity for illegal immigrants to obtain a job where they can support their family that they have in Mexico. I also think it's great that hispanic (non-documented) people are here, because they are doing a far good job on taking jobs that most Americans would not do, or even think of doing.
