Would it turn out bad if you used the "wrong" kind of yogurt in your recipe?

I have the following recipes:

Sunrise Smoothie:
1c pineapple juice
1c vanilla yogurt
1c frozen strawberries
2 ripe bananas, peeled

Mango Tango Smoothie:
1c peeled mango
1 banana peeled
1c fat free milk
1/2 c plain yogurt
1/2 c pineapple juice

Peach Power Up:
1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
2 c plain yogurt
3/4 c orange juice
2 c frozen sliced peaches

It seems as if your recipes use the sugar and vanilla flavoring in the yogurt to sweeten and flavor the other ingredients. In your plain yogurt recipes, there is either pineapple or orange juice to provide extra sugar and flavor.

So, if you don't have vanilla yogurt when it is called for, increase the amount of ultrasweet juice, and maybe add a teaspoon of vanilla extract. If you are using vanilla yogurt in the place of plain, decrease the amount of very sweet juice.

Because Vanilla yogurt has flavor and sweetness in it, while plain yogurt doesn't have any flavor. I learned that the hard way >.<
