Christians should never tolerate injustice.

We cannot tolerate compromising our belief in the one true God to accept that there are 'other' gods and there are many ways to heaven, because that simply isn't true. To do so would make us the biggest hypocrites on the planet, because Jesus said He IS the way. No man comes to the Father EXCEPT through HIM. We cannot tolerate ACCEPTING the beliefs of everyone else when we know they are following a lie. We can love them, but we cannot 'accept' their beliefs as being another means of salvation.

Christians are actually the most tolerant people on the planet, because we allow other religions to practice freely around us, instead of killing them like so many other cultures do. It is extremely dangerous to tolerate everything. Should we tolerate terrorists, because it is their belief that they should kill non- believers? Should we tolerate child molesters, if they tell people they were 'born that way?" Should we tolerate the spouses who beat their wives to a pulp because 'he is just a product of his environment, we should feel sorry for him"? Should we tolerate rapists, because they were 'born that way?"

I can go on and on like this. We can be tolerant in the manner Jesus taught us- love one another, pray for those who hate us, and do good to those who persecute us. But we cannot compromise the truth.

Just in view that Christians need to proportion the country with everyone else now does now not imply they don't seem to be being tolerated. Politicians on the country wide degree nonetheless need to be Christian, or no less than Jewish, in any other case they're generally unelectable (with a couple of infrequent exceptions). Nobody goes to fireside you for being Christian, however in lots of areas letting or not it's identified that you are an atheist or a Muslim can positioned your task and your social lifestyles in severe jeopardy. My recommendation to you is to lose the entitlement difficult. Being tolerated does now not imply you get to make use of tax cash to advertise your faith or inform everyone else who they may be able to marry and what they may be able to do with their our bodies (either one of which can be nonetheless performed, so that you -rather- do not have whatever to ***** approximately).

I think the best approach is to go with Paul's admonition to avoid even a hint of sinful living, but this is more advice on what we should tolerate in our own lives.

We should not tolerate murder, exploitation of children, abuse of families, or victimization of other people.

I am inclined as a Christian to be tolerant of other people's choices if they don't affect other people. If a man chooses to be an alcoholic it is his business. If he chooses to drive drunk it is my business, because he can endanger me and others.

I don't particularly like homosexuality, but I believe Christ teaches us to abhor the sin and love the sinner, and--if I do that--I accept the sin without necessarily tolerating it.

It is dangerous to be too tolerant, but we should also adopt Christ's attitude about forgiveness. He forgave those who executed him, and he forgave the woman taken in adultery, admonishing her to "go and sin no more." But he also saved her life by telling those who would have stoned her to look within themselves before they condemned others for sin.

As a Christian I primarily base my beliefs and conduct on what Jesus said and did. How others interpret him can be helpful, but those words don't override his words.

They should never tolerate any opinion that isn't exactly their own! They should never tolerate anyone trying to find out anything about anything. They should never tolerate libraries, or science, or philosophy or any thinking at all!

People have been worshipping Gods other than your God for millennia -- and they continue to do so, very happily and successfully. I'm afraid you'll just have to get over it.
