So I'm preparing to do a video on youtube about whether Mormonism is Biblical. I do want to make sure I don't leave anything out though- so far I plan on mentioning the following
1. The gospel changing (blacks in the priesthood and polygamy)
2. Priesthood authority and laying on of hands
3. Eternal Families
4. Pre-existence
5. Continuing prophets
6. Continuing scripture (open canon)
7. A restoration to Christ's Church
8. Temples
9. Jesus as a created being (and Satan's brother)
10. Jesus to visit the americas
11. Women teaching in church
12. Man becoming God
13. 3 heavens
14. The apostasy of Christ's church
15. Gift of the Holy Ghost given after baptism
16. Baptism essential for salvation
17. Man able to see God
18. Baptism for the dead
19. 3 Seperate Gods
20. God the Father, and Christ have bodies
Whew..... so... question is, did I miss anything? Or is there anything else I should cover?
P.S. Check out my other video called Are Mormons Christian?

What about baptisms for the dead? I don't exactly believe that's Biblical.

How about spiritual prision vs. spiritual paradise (a form of afterlife purgatory everyone will inhabit until heaven is avaliable later) after death? And acceptance of the messages of afterlife missionaries of those individuals condemned to spiritual prison when they die, thereby allowing them to travel from spiritual prison to spiritual paradise? Do you think that's Biblical?

Do you think you will be responsible for certain bodily guestures and words in order to pass through a process of getting into heaven? (Masonic-similar "Signs and Tokens.") I doubt anyone would believe that's in the Bible.

What about the "knife across the throat" hand guesture enacted by members in the Temple, in a promise never to tell what they learned there, else they are subject to the penalty of death? (I know they don't do that anymore, but I know they were doing it in the 1970's.) I doubt anyone can find a reference to this in the Bible.

If I were you, I would consider eliminating "the laying on of hands" from your roster. Many Christians believe in that. I'm sure they can back it up Biblically.

First of all moran believe in the book of morman and the Bible but if you read them they contradict each other the book of morman also contradicts itself. The Bible does not the bible is incapable of error. The Bible says that there is only one God the book of morman says there is more than one God and depending on how good you are you can become a God too and that is not true. The Bible says do not add or take away from the Bible and the book of Morman is somthing that some guy added on you should do a video on how mormanism is a lie but the Bible is the soul truth. 3 heavens is not biblical the Bible says there is one heaven and one hell. The Bible says the men should be the head of the church and the home.

properly, at the start you be attentive to that expenses from Bruce R. McConkie might desire to be excited approximately a grain of salt. confident he wrote "Mormon doctrine", IN HIS own OPINION. He grew to become right into a great guy and an apostle, and different the flaws he says are extremely actual. yet his gospel doctrine, isn't the church homes truly taught gospel doctrine. as an occasion it relatively is not gospel doctrine that God "had intercourse" with Mary to conceive Jesus, as he says. on your video i could concentration on how the LDS faith truly did no longer upload to the bible. How Jesus did talk approximately different civilizations that he grew to become into going to bypass to different than for Jerusalem, and that the writers of the Bible could no longer write approximately his different visits because of the fact they weren't there. you additionally can point out that the LDS study the Bible (KJV, no longer our own) as much as everyone, and we've our own meanings only like anybody else. that's perhaps a solid beginning element, solid success.

Sounds very interesting. Please email the link when it's ready.

Oh, and I thought of some things you can add to your list:
1. Same organization as primitive church (apostles, prophets, elders, priests, high priests, deacons, bishops, etc.)
2. Clergy comprised of lay members, and not paid
3. Members of the Church are called saints
4. Gospel to be preached in all the world
5. Repentance essential for forgiveness of sins
6. Baptism by immersion only, and by the proper authority
7. Jesus' ministry in the Spirit World
8. Everyone will be resurrected
9. Jehovah was the pre-mortal Jesus

2. 1/2 is right-laying on of hands
5. continuing prophets
11. women teaching (though not in government positions)
13. 3 heavens -atmosphere, space, heaven
14. the apostacy
15 Holy Spirit 2ndary work

I can show all these in the Bible, contact me.

You can mention that just as they believe man can become gods, they also believe that God (i.e., Heavenly Father) was once a man on another Earth-like planet that became the God that He is today. Some people are unaware of that teaching. And if you want an LDS source to back up this teaching, you can read chapter 47 in the LDS teaching manual, Gospel Principles. I'll give you the link to the contents. Just read chapter 47. And email me the video link when you create it, I'd like to watch it. Thanks!

There is no such thing as biblical mormonism. Mormoinism uses other books and not just the bible. If one would take all of the mormon scriptures away there would be no mormonism.

Why thumbs down? everything i said is true

Looks like you have it pretty well covered, dear one. But are you offering Mormons an alternative or just condemning their cult? Are you telling them about the Jesus of the Bible? (Theirs is the brother of Lucifer, by the way).

God bless!
