you are totally right.
God is not the father,he is the CREATOR.
When you create something it becomes your creation-a creature, not your son.
so any comparison with the parents is out of topic coz we and our parents are humans (as sons we are genetically and physically part of our parents.but God is of a different makeup and unique(He is NOT human).
You dont hate your dog, because your dog is an animal and has no brain/mind to think about god, that's why the bible is for humans, not dogs. And only humans are accountable for their deeds.
Have you seen a dog taken to court for trial of something wrong they did ?
Then if god loves you no matter how you degrade him,why He expelled Adam from heaven for disobedience, huh ?????
God sent us here in this life as a test. God loves us but He wont intervene during the test(exam). So a tornado can shatter your apartment at any time,a car can hit you,a war can ruin your life, cancer can grab you, people can be mean to you,you can be mean to people, you will encounter good and evil.
You have to accept it.
But even if we assume GOD act like humans.Even humans have agreed for a soceity to function, there needs to be some form of justice and accountability.
Dont listen to biblical responses, they are idealistic and unfounded wishful thinkings. They think everybody bought the unfounded claim that God can have a son who died for their sins. They dont even allow the possibility for the if question.
What if god has no son ?
What if Jesus was not as described in the famous heresay collection called "the bible" ?
the" bible says" answer is not proof of anything
Atheists may be close to an objective answer.
your day to day life will prove it.

Totally untrue.
If you give the Old Testament a VERY narrow read you might come to that conclusion, but the whole point of the New Testiment is to herald the good news of GRACE. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ FREED us from the penalty of the Old Testiment Law.
God occupies three supervisory roles over us in the Bible; That of King, Judge, and Parent.
If you tell your child not to touch the stove and the child does so in disobedience and gets burned, is the child's being burned a punishment for disobediance? Or rather, did the parent not already know the consequences of that particular action and because he or she LOVED the child, wanted them to avoid the pain they knew would ensue?
By far God is refered to as the Parent more often than either of the other two. Why do parents set down rules? To help their children avoid the terrible consequences of disobediance.
I don't think God sat around at the begining of creation thinking of all the really great, fun things that he could prohibit us from doing to make us miserable. Rather I think he knew that certain actions had very serious real world consequences with the potential to hurt ourselves and other people. THAT is what sin is; Anything that hurts you or anything that causes you to hurt someone else. God forbids sin to PROTECT the children whom he loves, and sorrows with them when they disobey and suffer the pain that he KNEW beforehand they would suffer.
As much as children may think that their parents only exist to make them miserable is that REALLY the case? I think it is not the case with human beings (who were made in the image of God), nor is it the case with our Heavenly Father either.

First off, God is not hate. God is love. God loves you. God gave his only son to cleanse you of your sins. If you ask God for forgiveness, believe, and do your best, who's to say you can't enter the kingdom of God? God doesn't want anyone to burn in hell. If he designed people to burn in hell if they weren't good, don't you think he would have invented heaven and hell before Adam and Eve were actually in the garden? He's giving you options. Don't take things so literally dude. Forgiveness is a big thing. You have to ask for forgiveness for your sins, and you'll be instantly forgiven. But you also must forgive YOURSELF. God Bless. Hope you find what you're looking for.

God loves everyone. He loves the sinner, but hates the sin.
.. Who are you to judge whom God will send to Hell? If you know the Bible the way you claim you do, you should have come across this verse:
Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you (Matthew 7:12)

Love isn't in common terms a feeling. Love is an action in the direction of the betterment of its objective that usually includes some sort of private sacrifice. The greater advantageous the sacrifice the greater advantageous the affection. God did Love Esau yet Esau did no longer Love God. Jesus died for all sinners who might settle for him as Lord and Savior, Esau became right into a sinner however the bible archives God hated Esau via fact he became right into a carnal guy to the tip. additionally the passage in Romans exhibits that ultimately Esau did no longer settle for Jesus' as Lord and Savior hence Jesus sacrifice did no longer disguise his carnal sins. there's a Love that God hates....and that's Love of the international. you will locate that in the time of 1John

That's not what I read here:
John 3:16-17 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Well he loves mankind, & wishes all to be saved, but he knows that most won't be
(Matthew 7:13-14) . . .Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.
(Matthew 7:21-23) 21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.
(1 John 5:2-3) . . .By this we gain the knowledge that we are loving the children of God, when we are loving God and doing his commandments. 3 For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome. . .
(Deuteronomy 7:9-10) . . .And you well know that Jehovah your God is the [true] God, the faithful God, keeping covenant and loving-kindness in the case of those who love him and those who keep his commandments to a thousand generations, 10 but repaying to his face the one who hates him by destroying him. He will not hesitate toward the one who hates him; he will repay him to his face. . .
(Exodus 23:5) . . .Should you see the *** of someone who hates you lying down under its load, then you must refrain from leaving him. With him you are without fail to get it loose. . .
(Psalm 11:5-7) . . .And anyone loving violence His soul certainly HATES. 6 He will rain down upon the wicked ones traps, fire and sulphur And a scorching wind, as the portion of their cup. 7 For Jehovah is righteous; he does love righteous acts. The upright are the ones that will behold his face. . .
yes God does hate some

You asked the same question twice in one day . . I wonder why.
Jesus says to love everyone, love our enemies, love those who hate us. So, if Jesus tells us to love everyone, isn't it safe to assume Jesus, and His Father love everyone, too?
Jesus died for everyone, not just those who understand it.
Jesus died for Osama Bin Laden.
I'm curious where in the New Testament you find the words "God hates . . ." Because if you're a follower of Christ, hate shouldn't ever cross your lips.
If God hates anyone, then Christ's death was in vain.
Godspeed you on your journey of discernment.

I hope you are never a dad. No loving father (and afterall that is what God is) HATES his children for being disobedient. He may be unhappy or disappointed but that isn't the same as hate.
