Is it an epidemic? Why do so many people, especially guys get off on it?

Think about the people who you are watching in the pornography. Many turned to this lifestyle after being sexually abused as children, or to support drug habits. Contributing to this business means contributing to their debasement.
It is never a good thing to treat another human being as nothing more than an object to satisfy selfish pleasure.

Pornography, like almost everything else, is fine and perfectly normal in moderation. The problems arise when individuals either can't or won't control themselves. Which is similar to many other vises we all face like alcohol, drugs, sex, work, etc.

I'm always amazed how many people are fine with it. I don't get women who think it's fine for their mates to lust after other women. I just recently learned that it is common for females to attend sex toy parties. I don't know what to think anymore. Romance is DEAD. Sleaze lives. Girls exploit themselves more than the men did. My head is shaking. How could you ever expect a relationship to last a lifetime. I'm becoming a Tibetan Monk.

pornography is a bad thing, it poisons the mind to the point the mind cannot distinguish whats real and whats fantasy. why subsitute fantasy for something real? Lots of men are in this condition.

I have mixed emotions.
Porn is not bad, especially watching it with your lover.
My concern is the people in the films, especially the young women. I fear they are used and exploited for a lot more than what is on the screen.
I think Playboy and Penthouse are NOT pornography. I have no problem with my son looking at naked women. I think it is normal.

Porn is bad. men like it because they are image processed and this allows them to have something that normaly cannot have without immediate physical or soulish negative consequences but there are spiritual ones. It also allows them to have such without being bothered by the disadvantges a real woman gives them.

I think it can make a sex life much more interesting, not to mention comfortable (mentally ;P) But it can break relationships as well. Everything in moderation, too much of a good thing.... etc etc... I see it as a tool to tap into our sexual side, similar to some music or even books- just more blatant.

It bad cause it makes people think that being extremely open sexually is normal. When its not. Guys like porn because we are built by nature to respond to it. Girl like a different kind of porn....Romance novels. (thats not reality either)
