im looking into buying a video camera and i know just about nothing about them. i saw one that was 640 x 480 is this good? and wat are the really good resolutions i could get while staying in a reasonable budget?

4 megapixels and above, for video cameas, 640 * 480 is a good resolution for the lowest price

for miniDV, 720x480 is the pixel resolution that will be recorded on tape. If the CCD has more pixels, they will be downconverted. However some cameras also take still pictures, and for them you mignt want a megapixel type CCD.
