Get a different body wash. Does he wash all over, every day?
He needs to scrub his face, pits, parts, and feet thoroughly, and other areas as well, but not so much. Hair too. Rinse thoroughly.
Give him clean towel for each shower, and make him change all underwear, shirt, socks every day. Pants could probably wear more than once.
Change bedsheets every week, and new pjs every night.
Get in the shower and do it with him!
If all this doesn't help, then send him to a doctor. There are some diseases that cause weird body odors.

Well, if you are using a 'pretty' body gel, that's probably a large part of the problem. Try switching to a deoderant bar soap....Dial is really good for killing bacteria, try that.

On the other hand, if he is using bar soap and washcloths, make sure you wash the washcloth everyday, they harbor bacteria too.

For deoderant, switch to a unscented 'manly' deoderant like Mitchum unscented.

If he does all this and you can um, smell HIM ...then see a doc. If he uses anything with a heavy scent, like Irish Spring, the scent might just cover it, until you're out in public someplace.....so use unscented stuff so you can figure out the extent of the problem. If all this doesnt' work, then see the doc.

Since he is a man (I am married to one)....make sure he uses the right things to do the right job. Make sure he uses shampoo on his head and soap for his body (my husband would use soap on his head and conditioner on his body because he felt 'soft and nice' afterwards. LOL!).

They have a lot of body hair that many men don't shave--like underarm hair--and that retains smell, so they need to wash a little extra.

Introduce him to a wash cloth if he doesn't already use one.

The Dove bar is for girls, not for boys. They need extra strength stuff, like Irish Spring or something.

Deodorant is his friend.

:D

Buy a different kind of soap. I use oily bar soap the only kind I don't like is the kind with the micro beads in it. Axial does not clean very well. I like Irish spring too. Just make sure you use lotion to because it will dry out skin. Dial is good too. Tell him to lather and scube. If use he uses Axail tell to scub with normale bar soap first . Then wash with Axial for its smell.

Usually it means he isnt washing enough to get the smell away. If this is not the problem, i suggest you talk to a doctor.

Get him bodyspray. Or tell him to wear deodorant. That might help.
