just come up to him and be like: "so, would you like to go to the halloween dance? Tell me...What would you like from me? A trick?...or a treat?" It's very important that you pause and ask that last question in your sexiest voice ;)

if you know hes really there is nothing wrong with asking him yourself , its good you are being brave. Just get him alone one day and say hello ____ i would really like it if you would come to the dance with me , i think it would be really fun.
