I Have been at my job for 6 1/2 years. the first 3 years i was part time then i went full time. I had a baby 9months ago so iwent back to part time and they told me they were gonna take a dollar an hour out of my pay! I never got another dollar when i went full time, all the raises i got were legit, yearly evaluations. Is this right? Is there something i can do to prevent this from happening? Finding a new job isn't easy. especially since they give me the hours i want. I'm in a panic. What can i do?

The best thing for you to do is to contact your HR or Personnel Dept ASAP. They will be able to tell you if this is legit or not.

Ask your HR person. If they "go with it" then let it rest for a couple months. Then call the state division of wage/hour (depends on your state what it would be called). You may not have a case, but they can tell you better than anyone here.

unfortunately all the answers are wrong, unless you have written contract, which is unlikely as in the US contracts are only used for executives, they can raise your pay, lower your pay as long as it meets minimum wage cut your benefits, etc. I may not be right but is completely legal

Wow ! That sounds crazy. There must be someone up the chain of command you can complain to. IF you were harassed or something who would you go to for that, other than your immediate supervisor? Good luck.

It's legal for them to do that, as long as you are still at or above the minimum wage.
