and the question would be????
Slavery was bad, make no mistake about that. But the Holocaust was much worse. The Holocaust attempted to put a end to people of Jewish heritage by KILLING ALL JEWS, in the belief that a MASTER race would arise from that. Slavery on the other hand was for profit and the killing of slaves was NOT on the agenda. Alot of slaves did die and yes, what was done to them was wrong, I am by no means saying anything to support slavery.
So all that said, you could look at it like this:
Holocost = DEATH
Slavery = LOSS OF FREEDOM
Now which one would be worse???? I vote death to be the worse of the two.

Slavery...They made people slaves. Holocaust...They killed the jews, and any people with diseases...or they performed experiments... Anyhow..what was the question? Oh and i dont think it should be jewish vs africans or Slaver vs Holocaust. They were both bad events that happened. In the Past. There shouldn't be any competition at all between them. Thats just wrong wanting to see which one was worse or better.

There was a place in Germany, where between three and ten thousand persons were killed every day. Trains pulled in to the station, people got off, walked around about four corners, and were placed in a room and killed.
There was a boat arriving in Savannah harbor about every three to ten days, holding sometimes a hundred Africans. About three had died on the trip across, and the rest were fed, healed, and sold.
Both are terrible, and I think only the individual may choose the worse of two evils.

There have been may slaves that were not African, so your question is somewhat misleading. Slavery, unfortunately, only became a moral issue for the general populous when it was no longer an economic issue for the majority. Genocide (and there have been many, not just that of the Jews in WWII) is actually just an extension of the same superior attitude.

FYI - the Jews, among other peoples, were also slaves. All were tragedies! I personally can not try to compare two different sets of peoples equal pain and grief. Both were horrible.

God approved slavery. It was in the Bible. God had rules for treating slaves.
God also told Moses to kill every human on the land God promised the Jews. Isn't it genocide? Isn't holocost another name for genocide?

They are both atrocities and are very very different from each other. One was to wipe an entire race off the face of the earth and the other was for free labor neither worked both races survived and have prospered. I don't think the question needed to be asked, so please take it delete it.
thank you.
