If you have a bff or a really close friend and you give them a hug. guys think that your all lesbien or sumthin. or like if you call another girl hun, or sweety, and when they say they love each other like in an e-mail. guys think that is lesbien. i know for one i am not a lesbien but i do give my friends that are girls hugs and stuff and sum guys take it the wrong way!!! why??
thats all i want to know is why!?!?!?!?!
and no offence to any of you girls that are like that cause i'm not tryin to be like that. one of my bff's is one so i can't hate on some one like that.

I have to say I'm somewhat offended. I'm a guy and I don't think like that. Alot of those guys are probably just playing with you or giving you a hard time. The only lesbians I know are somewhat masculine. I knew two girls that actually kissed each other and I knew they weren't lesbians. I'm sorry but hun or sweety just doesn't make the lesbian cut, though holding hands while walking might make me a little suspicious. Personally though it would be none of my business.

It's because the male species is simple. Not dumb, but they tend to take the first sight/sound and run with it. Two girls hugging, first thing that comes to their mind....But not every male things the same way. Some just think it's two girls hugging. No big deal. Men are so straight forward it's ridiculous. Why so many women can't get along with men is even more insane. You need to study the nature of males. It's the same all across the board.

Lesbians are a turn on for a guy so even though the girl isn't a lesbian won't stop them from having thoughts of those girls doing stuff, my boyfriend thinks its hot and it turns him on but he also thinks that will get him a 3sum but it so won't so don't let this bug you its just a guy thing and guys are weird and alot of them are pigs and SEX is the main thing in there BRAIN we all know that!! I hug and say love you to mah girl friends theres nothing wrong with that its just a girl thing that men will never understand and as much as they try to understand they won;t because the whole LESBIAN THOUGHTS will interfere!

Sounds like you know a LOT of immature guys. Give them time to grow up... they will stop. Either that... or they'll want you to be lesbians.. guys think that is hot for some reason. It's kinda funny... my friend and I pretend that we are every once in a while just to see the looks on their faces... it really is funny.

then they must not know many girls cuz probably like all the girls i kno do that stuff too. I have seen girls makeout that was pretty cool but anyway that would be considered lesbian but they werent lesbian so in conclusion girls are always hugging and kissing each other and stuff as long as you dont look dikey dont worry bout it. aight peace.

Probably because either they think lesbians are hot, or they are so homophobic any show of affection romantic or otherwise suddenly has sexual undertones. I went to a festival, and my sister threw her arm over my shoulder. A car full of guys started hooting and whistling, and beeping their horn. It's demeaning, and it's stupid.

well it could be a maturity thing or it could be there just not used to that sort of thing..also girls are usually more affecitonit{not sure if i spelled that right but}then guys its more of a high five or wuts up thing for the guys thats how i am... we all show things in different ways
