She wasn't dubbed the Oxley Moron for nothing. By herself she might not be too bad but her hangers-on and supporters are the dregs of Australia. She won't get into Parliament again.

Pauline Hanson is one of those people who is totally convinced she is doing the right thing, but what she actually does is act like a magnet for all the worst types in society.

Then, because she is a somewhat naive type of person, she does not see the way she is used.

Because of that, I do not think she would ever make a good politician or leader, as they need to be more worldly wise and 'street smart'.

When she first came to prominence, I was sure Pauline Hanson was a very bad person, but over the years I have come to see her as someone who is a fighter for her beliefs, just not that smart.

I would never support her because I disagree with her views almost totally ~ in fact, I can't think of one thing she has ever said that I agree with ~ but I have come to see her an honest woman in stating what she believes, who does not hide behind fine words and then do the opposite later.

Cheers :-)

Well I used to like her in the late nineties, not sure of her policies now, as I am a bit non up to speed politically.
I think she is a lady that they should have let have a go, but as usual she got drowned out by some ignorant and uneducated persons that could not see what was happening to Australia.
No I didnt agree with all her views, but I think she had guts to sock it to the Liberal and Labour parties and attempted to keep Australia "Australian owned", and also she was attempting to maintain order by filtering out individuals who would cause problems by entering Australia.
No, but no one would listen would they?
Look at that Mufti fella, great type we want here ay? Yes its borderline generalisation, but come on, we all know some cultures just dont mix it with what has been traditionally our Australian way of life.

Pauline Who?

I agree with what thing55000 has said.

I am an Aussie of Asian origin. But I never thought of her as a racist - unlike so many other people. I have listened to THE WHOLE infamous speech and thought about what she said. She really believes in what she is saying but not very smart. She doesn't think carefully as to what is being said and what could be their implications.

She is not politically wise but truly wants to make a real difference to this country. Her political views are not well thought through.

She will get enough votes to get election funding. A lazy $x00k for being noisy for a while. Nice work if you can get it.

She works the same as Hitler did incite hatred, tell enough people what they want to hear and cause enough anarchy to get what she wants.

She believes the Government can just print more money when they need it. Enough said?
