Wrap it up good in your luggage - the only thing they will do if they catch you is take it away. It will be returned the last day of the cruise.
I have always taken on alcohol in my check in luggage and never had a problem.

hi Jake! Please do your self a want and stumble on a powerful return and forth agent that may assist you stumble on the ideal cruise to suite your pastimes and funds. How do you already know in case you have a powerful agent? in case you touch an business enterprise and, once you tell them you will have to take a cruise they provide you many brochures, that's no longer what you're searching for. do no longer hesitate to easily say "no thank you" and flow on. you're spending numerous no longer ordinary-earned money in this cruise, so it could be on your ideal activity to discover somebody who fairly desires to grant you and your loved ones the ideal cruise a probability and considers what your funds besides as what you prefer to get out of a cruise. i'd rather stay far off from NCL or Carnival. Royal Caribbean is great for families. Disney and action picture star are slightly extra upscale than Royal Caribbean, yet nevertheless low fee and extremely large. Princess, Cunard, and Holland-u . s . have a tendency to cater to an older crowd. As an agent i'd propose right here: - do no longer immediately agree on the airfare presented by ability of the cruise line. Ask the agent to discover you a miles better air value. - same for the return and forth coverage. do no longer spend all this money and then lose it because of the fact somebody gets ill 2 days earlier the cruise or your flight delays reason you to omit the crusing. attempt Travelex - little ones below sixteen are insured at no can charge below their determine's coverage. Cruise strains in basic terms can charge a flat value for each passenger. - Do fly into your embarkation port the day earlier and in a single day. Flying in on the day of the cruise and you could desire to possibility lacking the crusing using aspects out of your administration alongside with climate, airplane kit problems, etc. - be certain you have valid passports which will nevertheless be valid for 6 months after the date of your predicted return. maximum international places will require this. If some or all of you require passports, be certain you expedite the utility while you're making plans to flow each time interior the subsequent 6 months. The passport places of work are months in the back of in processing passports and the only thank you to guarantee you will get them in time is to pay the expediting value.

We just took a Carnival Cruise in September.

Carnival does allow one bottle of wine or champagne per passenger, no problems. As for booze, a guest sitting at our dinner table told us that she packed a bag full of 'nips' in her toiletries bag and had no issues. In fact, she asked her stateroom attendant to clean out her mini-bar refrigerator so that she could keep all of her own stuff in there, and it was never questioned.

I have also read that people are allowed to take cases of bottled water or soda with them, if you tag it like your luggage, but we have never done that.

probably would be confiscated. If you buy alcohol on board they keep it for you and give it to you before you get off the ship. If you bring your own, they have a corkage fee.

My brother tried to sneak some booze aboard in his luggage. They found, and confiscated it. We where able to pick it up when we returned. If you are bashful, don't even think about it. They tend to make an example of the ones they catch. I did manage to sneak in about 6 cold beers!
