You begin with two words...and go from there...and if I have to tell you what those two words are, something is wrong.
But, you may get them a gift, you may pay them forward and tell them that you are doing that, by trying to help another's life and using these people as examples when you witness to others about your own changes, especially those who do not feel such change is possible.
You pray for them, or think good thoughts about them in a wishful way, depending on your spirituality.
If they are not the type to accept gifts, donate something if you can in their name.
These are just a few ways to show gratitude, but they all start with those two words, even if you add "I do not know how to say 'thank you' for all you did for me," and proceed to tell them why it made a difference. Anybody willing to change another's life appreciates it when someone says something nice to them about the change it made.

The best way to start the conversation is to say Thank you so much for so many things, especially .....you really do not know how much this has impacted my life.....
If it was a bad change and someone caused it, I would start by shoving a 45 in their mouth and say, "Speak into the microphone squidbrain"....just kidding....I would actually do what I said first.

Did you watch the movie pay if forward? It may not be the time to help or support someone right now, but the time will come that someone will need you to trust them, and help them, and the person that you want to thank will be so proud of you, even if they don't know what you did?

You keep up the good work and then help somone who has been in the same circumstance. It never hurts to send them a Thank you card or a token of appreciation.

YOU must continue to do well in your life. This is the "perfect" manner in which to show thankfulness and "respect." I wish you well. Peace, Love and God Bless.

Let them know that you've changed for good and how happy you are now. That's gratitude enough for their work.

Through your own actions. Trying to give back to them what they have done for you.
