I admit I don't eat as much as most adults but if I eat until I am full isn't that okay? I have been thin all my life. I eat what I want and don't watch my weight. If I want chocolate I will eat it. But when we are out at someone's house or at a restaurant I can't eat the amount everyone else does. But if I eat what I want, when I want and how much I want wouldn't that mean I am not anorexic even if it isn't much compared to other people? And isn't it rude for people to say that? Isn't that just as bad as commenting on someone's weight if they are over weight?

Anorexia is not a description, it is a diagnosed disorder, and can cause many health problems and is very hard to fight.
But you don't sound like you're really anorexic. Most Americans eat more than the recommended serving, and most restaraunts serve more than the recommended serving. Go to this site http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/ its a bmi (body mass index) calculator, find your bmi and it will tell you if you are underweight. If you are underweight, you should consult a doctor, because if you really are anorexic than that could be really dangerous. If not, than don't worry about it.

Nobody thinks all thin people are anorexic it is only people who are afraid to eat.
My great niece and great nephew were so skinny their bones all showed when they were little. He didn't much like food, his first birthday he had a cake and only put one finger in the frosting. He didn't want to try new food. Now he is 11 and his slim jeans are a little tight but he is filling out up to 74 pounds now. His little sister was so thin she was returned to the hospital a couple of days after birth for failure to thrive. She was almost a year old before she hit 10 pounds, Sunday she ate all the food on her plate it wasn't loaded but maybe 2-3 ounces of meat and some veggies, she is 8 now and skinny but never refused food to lose weight or stay thin.

Well, if you have been eating but still cannot get fatter, then you are not anorexic. Anorexia is a mental health disorder. It is an obssession over one's weight and body image perceptions. So if you have none of these, you are in the clear. You can read more about anorexia from here http://www.eating-disorder-research.com

Do however make sure that you are also eating well; that is you are having adequate nutrition from all sources. Having parasites or malabsorption problems can also affect your ability to gain weight, despite eating a lot.

Your fine just the way you are. There are a lot of rude people in the world who might not know that they are. Just keep doing what your doing as long as your eating the right stuff don't worry about the amount and good luck!...:)
