You tell her matter of factly and with care. She'll be embarassed. What's worse - being embarassed or possibly missing a growth?

Do you think it will be her or you that is embarrassed. It is your job to teach her about her body. If you don't think you are able to do this then maybe you should make an appointment for both you to go to a women's clinic to discuss all the things a pubescent girl needs to know.

Knowing the early signs of things like cancer could save her life one day. She really needs to know how to notice changes in her body. If you have a problem with talking about breast exams then how will you go when it comes to pap smears.

She will enjoy you taking an interest in her health. She might even have questions she's been afaid to ask about her body. Why not talk about it while taking a walk in the woods. That way your not unconfortably in her face about it.

Tell her to deal with the embarrassment! Ask her: would you rather me talk to you about this in front of all your friends or behind closed doors just us?

Just like you would with the puberty talk. It's something that see needs to become comfortable with, so the sooner the better.
