Sorry no. Satanism was created by a man named Anton LeVay as his way of poking fun at Christianity. He didnt even believe in Satan himself...
The thing that bothers me the most is how often my religion Wicca is confused with this religion and yes Satanism is a true religion recognized as a religion. The Church of Set is alive and well.
Wicca has nothing to do with Satan we dont even believe in him.
