I disagree with everyone here. I think the RCC is the most evil ad corrupt church in history. I was absolutely elated when the last pope died, and I would like nothing more than to see the vatican burn baby burn.

Music Girl - Iam not talking about catholic people, or catholic beliefs. Iam talking about the CHURCH in power. Its equivlent to saying I dont hate the country but I hate the president. The Vatican is those in power, it has nothing to do with the beliefs. Ever heard of the Holy war, burning heretics at the stake, tampering and destroying historical documents, hidding pedophiles? That was all done by the Catholic Church or in other words those in POWER

I do now.

I was brought up Catholic, but with all new material that is coming out, .....Yes.... the 666 is the Vatican, the anti-christ is the Vatican.

I scares me to know this.

But they are the richest entity on the planet and they have vaults of gold and crowns and riches beyond belief. They keep all the old books on religions secret in vaults. They show up in every country wispering behind every leader and bribe and buy their way in all politics.

When I was younger, a very devote Catholic, I learned about their wealth. And then I saw the poor begging for food at their door step and this was the first crack in the myth they cast over everyone. They do not feed the poor. They ask all of us poor to do it for them. They make us feel guilty and take our money to do it but they do not feed the hungry. They prance around in gold robes, while people are freezing. In their long history, they murdered billions of people and whole villages who would not convert. Their robes are adorned with the blood of the inoccent!

Yes the Vatican and their offshoots are the axis if evil. The Divine Dicotomy is that their follower become wonderful people. I enjoy christians and their loving examples in life.

But if you do not read and educate yourself you are doomed to belive otherwise and doomed to fall in to the firey pits with them. For the evil ones want you to be stupid and follow their every lie.

I just bypass them and Love God with all my heart and soul. I do not need anyone telling me about my relationship with our Creator Source. I do not need anyone telling me to LOVE my neighbor! I love my nieghbors and all people!

I

At the top of the day men and women make their possess offerings. Your feedback are offensive and show truly lack of understanding for your aspect. The Catholic Church isn't an evil university and does a huge quantity of well paintings in lots of 3rd international international locations. However, I do believe you that the unfold of AIDS is a truly purpose for quandary, however it's not the Catholic Church subjecting thousands of men and women to the AIDS virus, even though admittedly, the anti condom precept most likely does not support. I suppose that your feedback are over zealous and extremeley biased, even though, in among your entire hatred and quick sightedness you will have highlighted the truth that there's a principal crisis with AIDS and undesirable being pregnant. The approach ahead is to instruct no longer factor the finger of blame. Had the Catholic Church under no circumstances existed, could those men and women dwelling in poverty ever have used condoms. Probably no longer. Step down out of your top horse.

Nice little hate-fest you all have going here. Enjoying yourselves?

Listen, do us a favor. Think and say whatever you wish about the Church, and the Vatican; it's your privilege. But please don't spout hatred of what we believe and then turn right around and profess that oh, no, you don't hate Catholic *people*, we're just poor pitiful lost souls.

How about this: Let's all shelve that "lost" question and see how things turn out for each other on the day of judgment. I would be delighted to find myself in the company of everyone here, in Heaven, my hope for which lies in Christ. I'm just rather weary of being judged by the unqualified in the meantime.

Pretty much every book based religion is like that. As for the pope, most of the time it isn't he who is corrupt, but those who are "protecting" him. In the past the pope wasn't as much of a figurehead as he is now. He is like the royal families. No real power, but there to show off to the people. As for your anger, most of what you spouted is ancient history and they have been trying to change their image ever since they have found that us "sheep" are not so dumb as they thought! No the embodiment of the Catholic Church is as bad as you say. I've studied religions for years, and found that so far they are the closest to what the true meaning of Christianity was meant to be... At least in the present that is.

PS I am not Catholic but Pagan! Also NOT a Devil worshiper!

I would love for you to please take a moment to think about this statement. 'There are no flaws in Christianity, yet there are numerous flaws in Christians.'
Religion is pure, followers even devout ones are human, and humans are flawed.
Has the Catholic Church made several horrible mistakes in its young history: YES!
Are all Catholics even those in power horrible because of their ancestor's mistakes: NO!
As Catholic we believe that God has forgiven our sins and we try our best to learn from and always be more like Jesus, more pure. But we stumble because we cannot be pure.
Try to understand that the Catholic religion is a faith of love. It is a celebration of God's love for us and for the need of acceptance of others.
The Catholic Church means no harm.

"There are not one hundred people in this world who dislike Catholicism, but there are millions who dislike what they mistakenly believe Catholicism to be."
-Archbishop Fulton Sheen

While I do not agree with some the Church's doctrine, I do know many sincere Catholics who I consider as my brothers and sisters in Christ.

edit: I must say that I am simply amazed. You ask what seems to be an innocent inquiry asking people opinions and then comes this diatribe of hate...Troll much?

Our churches have viewed the Church of the Lapsi (those who lapsed back into Idol Worship) as an Apostate Church since 250 A.D..

The Catholic Church has sanctioned the brutal slaughter of all who oppose them throughout it's history. Even still is uses a vicious Propaganda campaign to silence it's opponents.

You tell me, is this evil or what?

your additional details are just plain hateful. Do you realize that, had you said that about any other religion, you would've been torn to bits?
Have you noticed that none of the Catholics replying have been rude to you?
Just because you don't agree with or understand their beliefs/practices doesn't mean the Catholic Church is evil.

How ironic: They said Jesus was evil too. He cast out demons by the power of Beelzebub, they said. They were wrong, and so are you.

Jesus promised, "I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it" (Matt. 16:18). This means that his Church will never be destroyed and will never fall away from him. His Church will survive until his return. Among the Christian churches, only the Catholic Church has existed since the time of Jesus. Every other Christian church is an offshoot of the Catholic Church. The Eastern Orthodox churches broke away from unity with the pope in 1054. The Protestant churches were established during the Reformation, which began in 1517. (Most of today’s Protestant churches are actually offshoots of the original Protestant offshoots.)

Only the Catholic Church existed in the tenth century, in the fifth century, and in the first century, faithfully teaching the doctrines given by Christ to the apostles, omitting nothing. The line of popes can be traced back, in unbroken succession, to Peter himself. This is unequaled by any institution in history: Even the oldest government is new compared to the papacy. The Catholic Church has existed for nearly 2,000 years, despite constant opposition from the world. This is testimony to the Church’s divine origin: Any merely human organization would have collapsed long ago.

The Catholic Church is today the most vigorous church in the world (and the largest, with a billion members: one sixth of the human race), and that is testimony not to the cleverness of the Church’s leaders, but to the protection of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus’ Church is called catholic ("universal" in Greek) because it is his gift to all people. He told his apostles to go throughout the world and make disciples of "all nations" (Matt. 28:19–20). For 2,000 years the Catholic Church has carried out this mission, preaching the good news that Christ died for all men and that he wants all of us to be members of his universal family (Gal. 3:28). Nowadays the Catholic Church is found in every country of the world and is still sending out missionaries to "make disciples of all nations" (Matt. 28:19).

The Church Jesus established was known by its most common title, "the Catholic Church," at least as early as the year 107, when Ignatius of Antioch used that title to describe the one Church Jesus founded. The title apparently was old in Ignatius’s time, which means it went all the way back to the time of the apostles.

I agree with you B Grimey. I think the RCC is a liar/deceiver and is the harlot in revelation. They are modern day Pharisees. It makes me sad to think of all the people deceived and most of their hearts are so hardened to the truth, they cannot understand what God's word says. :(

I HATE the Roman Catholic Church. I do not hate the catholic people who are lost.

God Bless
