Classic! I agree with Catmandu. LMAO! In any situation you have to find a way to excuse yourself. I mean before... not after. LOL!

From a proper etiquette point of view, it is never OK to pass gas in public. You'll have to find a restroom or an empty room. If you're right in the middle of a presentation, you could improvise and asked to be excused, like pretend you have to go get something, or to find your notes, or something like that and you can go do your thing. There's always something you can do/say to excuse yourself in any situation.

Haha, I just love your question. I would try and hold it in, no matter how bad you have to do it, until the presentation is over. Lol, then go to the back of the room, and let 'er rip girl.

If it is silent there is no problem. The smell could have been produced by anyone. Just carry on as though nothing had happened.
