No, it's not a sin. The Bible says not to be "filled" with wine and that a drunkard will not inherit the Kingdom of God. It doesn't say that a person cannot enjoy a drink that contains alcohol or prohibit moderate consumption of alcohol that does not lead to drunkenness.

It is not a sin to drink an alcoholic beverage. Jesus drank wine at the wedding. As a matter of fact, He brought out the best wine. We drink wine for Holy Communion. What IS a sin is to be drunk.

No, of course not. If you want to get technical...cough medicines have alcohol in them too. So when we have a cough and take cough medicine, are we sinning? No, of course not. There we go with "man made" rules again.

If your are sick, it is probably better for you than all those crazy drugs out there, the sin would be if you get in a drunkard state.

Only if you're standing on your left foot with the wind blowing into you from the east... otherwise it is perfectly fine... no confessions needed.
