First of all, that is no best friend.
Second of all, this guy isn't worth it.
There's someone better for you out there.

You're so young and chances are this is one of many relationships you are going to experience in life in which you will have to make decisions that affect both a friend and a boy you both like.
Don't hurt your friend. Guys come and go but your best friend is there forever. Don't let a 9th grade crush get in the way.
If she is not being kind to you, try talking her to and expressing your feelings honestly. If she is your best friend, she will listen and try to work it out between you.

Since you wrote the letter to the guy, listen to the guy's response. Your best friend has a conflict of interest and is trying to get you to back off. If you do go out with him though, your best friend will probably not like you anymore.

The fact that you wrote him a letter instead of talking to him did two things, it showed him you are shy and scared to share your feelings openly, and it showed him what terrible grammar and spelling you have. Besides, guys go for girls they have to pursue, not girls that throw themselves at them. Get confident in who you are, and then find excuses to be around him without paying any attention to him. He'll want you more when he thinks you don't care about him anymore.

It's not uncommon for a guy to like more than one girl. If he wants to get to know you more, I'd take that opportunity. It's also not uncommon for someone to stop liking someone and then start liking them again. Get to know him better, even if you don't end up going out you can still be friends.

well dear...all you have to do is confront that guy if he really like you or to know you and either your best friend. It is nice to tell him frankly so that in the end no one of you will be blamed.Approach him in a kind manner and talk seriously regarding that matter or else it will ruin only your friendship to your best friend.

seems he is playing you and your friend to see which one he can have more fun with... your in 9th grade, there will be plenty more men in your life. keep looking, cause loosers like that will just take advantage of you and move on...

Don't even waste your time with this one hun. He sounds like he is messing with your head. Give it time and if he is right for you he will come to you. As far as I can see, you don't need to do anything. Oh and if your friend gets with him, you can probably do without her too!

well you can either think about likeing another guy but if u really like him then maybe (if you want to) u can tell him some things about u. And then maybe you can get a chance with him if he likes your personality etc.
