No.
(1) Young men think about sex a disproportionate amount of time relative to the rest of the world. Between 14-24 they are thinking about it 59 minutes out of every hour. This is no exaggeration.
(2) Everyone needs and wants love. Even men. Even though they don't always admit it or express it well, or realize that it is the most important thing in life.
The key, is to find one of the rare men who realize that you as a person are unique and wonderful, and that being able to have sex with you is the icing, not the cake.

I hate to tell you, but yes, too many men are just wanting a sexuall relationship. I have worked with some of the most dirty nasty talking men about sex all day long. That is all some men think on. They need to stop thinking of sex and go to college and get a degree like I did and do something good with their life.
I grew up in a home without my father. My mom and grandmother raised me and my brothers and sisters. That really taught me to respect women for who they are and the hard work they did. I learned that women are very unselfish.
For a while there I was looking for dates and hopefully a wife someday. But now I have stopped looking any more. I will leave it up to God. If I remain single, then that is up to God. I just want to be in the will of God. Also another reason that I am no longer looking for a wife is that I have been praying about moving in with my daughter and her family in Alaska. And part of that deal is to live in the bush courntry. There are no roads in or out of the village were we will be living. Only way in and out is by small planes. It will take me 8 days to drive there, expect I will have to store my car in civilization were the plane will pick me up to take me the rest of the way. So I have all that on my mind. So why do I want a woman or girlfriend or wife. She would not want to live 4,000 miles away in a place where there are no roads and no cars.
So see, Not every man wants to use up a woman and trash them. I try to think ahead and consider her in the scope of things.

First off, Decent guys should not talk dirty to you or just want sex. It is human nature to want sex, especially for guys, but be careful. If your not ready, don't do it. As far as this guy that likes you, maybe he doesn't get the feeling that you like him. Maybe he is nervous by you and can't express his feelings. Sounds like your young and time will change things. Don't let guys talk dirty to you. Inform them that you are not like that and don not enjoy it either.

i understand what you are going thru. after my divorce it seemed like all the guys i dated or talked to were always wanting sex or to talk dirty. i just realized that those werent the guys for me. when a guy really likes you he will treat you with respect not like a whore. if the guy you are trying to talk to isnt being very talkative then maybe hes just not that into you. maybe you should find another guy to date. just give it time and the right one will come along

The simple answer: DUMP HIM! AVOID HIM! If that is not what you want, hang tight to your guns and go after the kind you do want.
No, not all men are that way; believe me, as a red-blooded man, sex is supreme; but only under the right conditions (with a willing partner, etc.; to me, that means my wife).
I never smoked, never drank, never did drugs, never gambled; so, promiscuity is just another thing I do not believe in.
So, do what you need to do to avoid him...

If you've known him for years then you shouldn't be afraid to tell him how you feel. Tell him that you think he can do better. And there are guys out there that will love you for who you are. I'm not saying that sex isn't on their mind...but a gentleman would know better and have better respectable manners.

Unfortunately, teenager's hormones start raging before their brains can catch up. You will likely find it hard to find a guy who isn't after just your body until you are in your 20's (I assume you are a teenager). Give it time, the boys you know just need to mature. Just make sure you don't give in to them simply out of a desire to have them like you.

keep him at arm's distance and find someone that listens to you and shares time with you and does things with you. there are many guys who are looking for sex with no strings. hold out for someone that appreciates you for more than your body parts. you are right. someone who cares about you and is genuinely interested should listen and share and want to get to know you. don't believe the hype. a guy liking you and not paying attention to you is in it to win it - and nothing more. listen to your intuition, it will never, ever fail you.
