I feel that church is not the place to show so much cleavage and the whole top of their breast in church.

I have no idea. The most scandalous thing I ever wore to church was a pair of low rise jeans. I still looked cute, so whatever x]

lol! You're probably right, but those ladies are probably just comfortable wearing those clothes and think that they look nice.
Most women don't regard a little cleavage as a big ideal, and don't get why a lot of men get freaked out by it. Hahaha!
Try to relax, there's nothing that can be done. If you complain to one of them I'd bet $200 you'd get b****slapped!

Distracting someone from worshiping God, or allowing yourself to be more concerned with your appearance is nothing but vain glory.

1. Because they want to be appear attractive, but are not separated from the world, and thus dress like it.
2. Because the pastor approves or allows it, and thinks lowering the standard is the way to build a church.
3 . To draw attention to themselves, as the Pharisees of old did, but who would've expelled them.
4. In addition to the above, because they esteem a carnal form of "Christian liberty" above the law of love, that would consider that such (un)dress distracts men, who are wired to respond to sexual flesh.
5. In addition to the above, they are genuinely ignorant of the above.

It is not about the CHURCH it is about a standard! where ever you are you should be decent and not look at women lustfully...nor should they tempt you to!
women dress this way for the same reasons no matter where they are ---to attract attenton get noticed be liked ect.....

Let's put this in perspective. Breasts are mammalian appendages for feeding newborns. Who cares?
What I mean is that everything is cultural. Back in the Middle Ages, a woman showing her ankle was considered pretty sexy.

I guess by "temptation" he means the fact that they awaken a natural appetite. Maybe the problem is that some religious people are so sexually repressed that they've become morbidly sensitive.

God does not care what you wear in Church because he knows your heart. Ideally you should be modest and respectably dressed for Church though.
