I don't understand, I know people who are very religious yet their morals seems soo different. I know people who actually enjoys believing that people whos believe are different than theirs will go to hell, while they will will go the heaven. Why are I mean if they believe that hell exist, how can they not even feel pity for those who ends there but yet they enjoys the believe that others people with different faith or ideas will go to hell and they'll go to heaven? And why do they consider themselfs as a good person?

Some people seem to take great glee in telling atheists that they are going to hell. How else should we read that?

They feel they have the "answer", which makes them better then others.

I don't know anyone who feels good about someone going to hell. That would be really messed up.

I do believe, however, that some people are going to hell. According to my Christian faith, nobody can get into heaven on their own merit. You need to be perfect to go to heaven, and everyone has sinned. The only way is by believing that Jesus was killed in our place and paid for the sins of the whole world.

Does that mean I'm happy about that fact? Not a bit. It makes me very sad, which is why if I get the chance to share my faith with someone, I'll do it.

Oh, and don't think God's happy about punishing people either. But God is completely just. If he would ignore sin, he wouldn't be the just and good God he is. But since he loves us, he gave us a way to be redeemed. It's up to us whether or not we believe that.

Heaven or Hell is God's decision and God's decision alone. No one can say he is better than the other person just because he 'thinks' he prays more or because he 'talked' to God. A believer of the true religion actually weep for his fellow brothers and sisters who didnt know the One True God...not merely for the sake of heaven or hell, but because theyre never truly conscious of their relations to God nor feel the bounty of God's love upon them nor ever shiver with conviction and oh what a loss that is...

I think that people who says that people will go to hell still need to know more about God's love and forgiveness.

But... yes there are people who are like that. I recognize them. I respect them but I sadly do not agree with them.

I am a Christian but I see God's love greater than just sending us to heaven or hell.

Truth is exclusive by nature, and your own position as a pluralist excludes those who are not, and manifests intolerance against them.

You cannot have it both ways. There is a Creator, and He is not telling one man to blow himself to attain Paradise, and another to meditate on his navel. Rather He gives grace for souls to turn to Christ and receive Him who died for them and rose again!

Ultimately there is (and must be) both truth and error, and Hell is just as real and eternal as Heaven.

Jesus stated in John 3:19-21. "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. {20} For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. {21} But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."

What you do with Jesus Christ, the righteous Divine Son of God, reveals what you truly ultimately love, and determines where you will spend eternity. To be saved you need to decide that you want Jesus over sin, and ask Him to save you, trusting God to keep His promise to save you by His blood and righteousness. It is best you get alone with God and do not come out until you know you have received Jesus! This decision is shown by being baptized under water in identification with Christ.

who ever feels good about someone being lost for eternity is wrong. I think what should be proclaimed is the love of God and His fee gift of salvation and the freedom it brings.

I agree many churches put people in bondage to control them, but that's not what God is about and we can't focus on the few that do have their own agenda.

We need to proclaim the love and show it. Let our actions match our words.

Good Christian people do not feel good knowing "anyone" is going to hell. That said, there are many whom get so caught up in the "us vs. them" factor that they fail to realize their actual JOB as a Christian is to help others come to know Christ. It is not ours to judge anyone, nor scorn anyone. However, we are all human and human nature is inherently a mean nature - self serving - self righteous. It's so sad to see other Christian people - especially on this site - scorning, making fun of, telling others they are hell bound, when all Christ wants us to do is to "love our neighbors as ourselves". That means "everyone else". We are directed to pray for our leaders - - even if we don't like them, and didn't vote for them. We are directed to spread His Word - but more importantly, we are supposed to answer your questions, nurture you and love you. Not pound the WORD OF GOD into you. Whether you ever come to Christ or not, we are still to love you - unconditionally. I apologize for anyone whom has hurt you in such a way and has called themselves a Christian. Shame on them! Praise God for you! It is you that Christ Jesus has His eyes set upon. You are in His heart.

May Christ comfort you this evening - katiefish <><

Sad. I'm so grateful and happy that I'm saved--I chose God and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. But sad that their are people who know of God and Jesus, but are not saved. It's time for the Church to take a stand. And I remind myself and now others that the Church is each individual who is saved. Lets start standing.

Yes, I can.
There are a lot of basically cruel people out there, and while they don't feel there's anything wrong with what they believe, they will usually be quick to point out identical cruelty in other religions.

if heaven is full of people who are trying very very hard to convert everyone's belief, by shouting out phrases like "amen!", "jesus saves!", praise god!" out of nowhere, and by using capital letters on Normal Words, and by quoting paragraphs From "holy" book written by normal Human, then i Rather go To hell.
