People used to marry their first cousins, usually arranged marriages or among the 'royals'.
Lusting after someone you're related to -- outside of your immediate family -- is not a bad thing, and anybody who replies to your question negatively is lying, I'm sorry. We all have at least one good-looking cousin (or uncle or aunt) we wish we could have it off with but can't (or won't), so we tend to sublimate with someone completely unrelated (as far as we know) so that society won't frown on us.

Oh Yeah!!!! She was hot. If we had not been related I would have made a serious play for her. 40 yrs later she admitted that she felt the same way. Even at that, we were best friends and still are in our mid '60s.
