As far as eating healthier...the only thing that you can really do for yourself is to drink a lot of water. That will keep your entire body hydrated and thus keep your skin in better shape. If you really want to invest a little time and a little money into taking care of your skin, start seeing a good aesthetician and get regular facials. About a year ago or so I started doing this, and my skin has never looked better in my life, I can honestly say it is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. In addition, using quality products is important. Some people find success with stuff they get at the drugstore, but I never did, and once my aesthetician started recommending Dermalogica products and helping me choose which ones were right for my skin, the condition improved drastically. Now I never break out outside of a pimple here or there the week before my period, but I consider that a huge success considering what I used to get! Consider getting regular facials. It has made a huge difference for me.

A good face soap will do the trick... But the tricky part is finding the right soap for your skin. I have very sensitive skin but I found that Nuetragena bar soap works the best for me. When I was in high school I had problems with acne, but I have been acne free for almost 10 years using Nuetragena. Hope you find something that helps....

I have actually found that over the counter products do have a limited (emphasis on limited) amount of success in combating acne. And diet is relevant too, though not in the sense that people usually think.

Basically, if you eat healthy, your body will be healthy. It will function better and therefore combat acne. The myths about chocolate and oil and those kinds of things directly causing acne are completely false. But having a healthy body is the first step to combating acne.

Speaking of having a healthy body, sleep well and exercise. Lack of exercise will result in a body that has to strain itself, and lack of sleep just puts stress on all your systems.

It's a fact that severe acne problems torment many teens as well as older men and women. Don't wait to become one of them!

Just go to a dermatologist...diet doesn't help, and neither does over the counter products.

Eat a lot of green vegetables like spinach, cabbage, beans, peas, lettuce, etc. A salad and fruit should be taken daily. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
