I've always had very mild acne in the past. Never bad, but never perfectly clear. But for some reason my skin is breaking out really bad with this teeny white zits....they aren't even raised up or red like normal pimples. Just teensy and white, they can be popped but Im not doing that because I don't want them to spread. My facial tone is kind of red now and very irritated by them, and worst of all I have a some aptitude/skills testing for my new job (hopefully) this Friday, and I want to look my best of course.

PLEASE can someone tell me if they have experienced these kind of pimples before? Or if it is an ALLERGIC REACTION?

I changed to All free & clear laundry deterg. today and washed my bed linens so that they are fresh, and I changed to Almay skin clearing foundation, BUT these are just random precautions....I mean I've used my normal detergents and makeup brands all my life, and this never happened before!

What you have are white heads and they are formed by bacteria. I have acne too and I went to my doctor and they gave me minocycline pills which are antibiotics. They remove bacteria in your body so whiteheads won't form. Just make sure your face is clean, don't wash your face too often, change your pillow case at least once a week, make sure your hair is clean... as long as you don't get excess oil and dirt on your face whiteheads shouldn't form.

A few things that may help clear it up. Wash with a mild cleanser twice a day, make sure to exfoliate at least once a day with a product that contains salycilic acid. (I use St Ives apricot face scrub and it is very gentle.) And the most important thing don't forget to moisturize.

Are you using any new hair products, shampoo, or hairspray? That could be causing the irritation. Has anything in your diet changed?
It does sound like an allergic reaction, but it also could be keratosis or rosacea or some other type of skin issue. If it doesn't clear up I suggest going to a dermatologist.

I had terrible acne from 6th grade to about 10th grade and i got picked on so bad cuz of it. A boy i liked in 7th grade said to his friend that i looked like i got shot in the face and i was standing right there and that hurt so bad when he said that about me practically to my face. But man did her get paid back for it. When my acne cleared up in 10th grade, i saw him and his acne was so f**king horrid that i just laughed all year, he looked like a pepperoni pizza face. PRAISE THE LORD GOD, HE DOES PAY RETRIBUTION :D
Well, my acne was the normal pimples at first, i got the little white ones around my forehead and on my nose and i grew out of it. Eucalyptus i am allergic to, it made my face break out severely for a whole month and it ITCHED!!!
For your problem, i suggest clearasil ultra, 3 days and your face should clear up, otherwise try aloe, shea butter, pickle brine (salt soothes the skin, or at least it does mine), or vanishing cream.
