Honestly, I don't know any black atheists. Other than the ones I see here who have black avatars. I really only know white atheists. BUT! I do live in the bible belt and this area is classically known to suppress non-white people.
But otherwise if educated enough it has been proven that you will be less likely to believe in religion and that transcends any race.

I believe that people of all races are equal. We're all human. Why would the color of your skin make you a better Christian?
In regard to Mavis's statement "White people never do anything right"... that's the most racist thing I've heard in a long time. If a white person said "black people never do anything right", they'd get sued.
Sorry. That's a pet peeve of mine.

Black people have more melanin in their skin than white people... that's why they are darker. The bone structure of Africans and Caucasians are different too but that is a different story. For the most part, people (of all races) are more similar than they are different. It's sad that I even have to explain this to you.
But that being said, the color of your skin has nothing to do with your religion/beliefs...

I wish all sides would be more encouraging of focusing on our likeness and really listen to each other. Questions like this are divisive.

I personally don't think "color" has anything to do with being a "better athiest or better christian". Why do so many have to always make an issue regarding race?

I think that whites make better christians, their ignorant gullibility and stead fast and idiotically stubborn nature makes them more complacent when it comes to proof or evidence related to most things they do.
Also, this is a fairly supremisist question, I'm giving you the one finger salute.
