Do you've a plan to run it? I used to run the mile (four:forty two). It took me many years to determine that there was once a gimmic to jogging it.First lap is a dash as rough as ya can pass, then taper off just a bit and 3d lap is approximately the identical as second. Last lap is all out dash once more. Your first lap time might be what you'll frequently run the one million/four in as rapid as viable. Your part mile time will frequently be approximately what you'll run --doubled. You ought to construct up your stamina and middle fee--as good as your legs in order that they may not get vulnerable on ya. If you're critical approximately the mile , ya ought to be jogging all over ya pass. I had a automobile and nonetheless ran to college and ran dwelling after practices. I lived in a the city of 10,000. and college was once at the different part of the city. I frequently did not consume some thing that day till I was once performed jogging. Good Luck!!

ahh come on a mile's no problem [neither is two miles] whatever you do don't listen to music it slows you down because your more concentrated on listening than running [unless its not a timed mile]. make sure to drink plenty of water or gatorade and get lots of rest. before you run your mile do some good stretches and high knee-ups and maybe some butt-kicks to get warmed up!! and when u start your mile just keep a good pace and don't overdo it and when your done walk some to catch your breath trust me i'm in cross country so i know so i hope this helps.

you need to go to sleep soon and get ready for it early. if its in the morning, get up at least 2 hours before the run. this wakes you up and makes you feel more alert, focused and ready to run. there, you need to warm up a little until you feel warm. do this in extra clothes so that your muscles will stay warm, and make sure that you stretch everything in your body before the run. right before, you should take deep breaths. in the middle of the run remember to pace yourself!!! hope i helped

good luck

why is that a problem? A mile is nothing. You might want to wear construction boots and a very heavy backpack to give you some challenge.

music. ipod whatever just listen to it while you run it always makes me go faster.

some songs:
stronger by kanye west
remember the name by fort minor
[any songs that make you want to just...MOVE!!]

also, eat a good meal tonight...pasta perhaps? eat light meals tommorow untill you have ran it. (banannas, ect.]

wear light clothing- t shirt and shorts. no sweatshirts or sweatpants!!! you will get too hot if you do.

gum maybe? you wont get thirsty while you run if your chewing a fresh piece of gum

*keep a good pace!!!*

hope that helped.
