i met her a few days ago and shes real cool. i met her on myspace but she lives pretty close to me (about 10 min away) . i told her she was cute and she said the same about me. i know the school she goes to, and i know people who know her. anyway shes single and i want to ask her out on a date (not to be my girlfriend yet) . i want 2 do so just so i could get to know her more since i dont know too much about her yet. anyway is it ok for me to do this? will i seem like im rushing it or im desperate? and if i should do it. how should i go about asking her in a way she'll say yes!?

ask her if she wants to hang out sometime. If you know some of her friends, try to organize some social get together (movies, go to a football game, etc.) You obviously don't want to put her in a threatening situation so keep things fun and in the open (by that I mean don't make plans for a secluded, romantic dinner) If it goes well just ask if she would want to do something again and go from there. Just be yourself and nice. If she says no then just drop it, because you don't want to be pestering her for a date (that gets really annoying) But anywho, I hope she says yes and good luck.

Well, it depends on how long it has been since you met her. Get to know her more, and then I'd say hang out with her first... not call it a date unless it goes well. If you ask her right away and she doesn't know much about you either, she may think it's weird and turn you down.

well if she lives close by and u know people that she hangs out with then wat are you waiting for? you wont seem desperate just tell you that you want to get to know her more and it would be cool if you guys could hang out either by yourslf or go on a double date sort a thing it may sound old school but hey it might work dont wait for sum other guy to come along and try n take her away..it never hurts to try...

Ask her if she will like to meet you one night for dinner since you live close by and you would like to talk to her in person (DON'T FORGET THE ROSE)

go ahead and ask her--call her on the phone. What's the worst that can happen? If she says no, you have lost nothing.
