My brother says her father was a toy chihuahua, but he doesn't remember what her mom was. Here is a picture of her

I agree with the chihuahua/dachshund. It has a chi face wuth a dachshund's long body and short legs. No min pin there. I know something else too, she sure is a cutie!

The mother may have been a mix so you may never be able to find out.
It looks a lot like my Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix. Here is a picture of Bear.

He looks like a Chihuahua (NOT a "TOY", there is no such breed) cross Rat Terrier. They are mutts. Mixed breeds. They all look different. You can only predict what purebred will look like. Mutts don't have a standard and they don't look they same as other mutts. By the length of his back, he might also be mixed with a little Dachshund but it could be the way he is sitting.

At first i was thinking dachshund, but the pics you showed dont look anything like him. or it could just be fatter and its ears could be cropped. are you 100% positive it actually has chihuahua in it?? if so then it could really be just a chihuahua dachshund mix with cropped ears and just fatter!!

p.s. yes there are such things as toy chihuahuas and there are standard chihuahuas, just like there are toy poodles and standard poodles and mini poodles.

Mini Pin/Chihuahua I can tell by her features. Just bcuz she dont look like those pics that dont mean anything.

the dog looks like a chiweenie to me i work at a shelter and see them time from time like all designer dogs they range in look and to me such stout legs and facial features mean dachshund, they think min pin because of her color but she should be far leaner and taller to be a minchi.
That chiweenie from the website is funny looking that's why so many people like designer dogs, problem is no wasy of knowing how they turn out.

my friend has a chihuahua and dachshund mix that looks exactly like her.so i think she is mixed with a dachshund.
