Drinks, meals, hummers -- they are always appreciated.
But maybe just say thanks. Not enough people do that and it is perhaps the most appreciated.

Just say Thank you, my husband is a 2x war veteran and when people just say thanks...it brightens his days.
Show your patronage...Fly a Flag, take your hat off for the National Anthem, etc.
Donate to the VFWs..This helps so many disabled vets with medical benefits especially the ones who can work ever again and support their family.

first of all, there are many veterans day ceremonies, that's a big thing.
or simple things like remembering everything they've done for us.
if theres not an "act" you want to or are able to do, it would mean just if you keep in mind their hard work and courage and support them, as well as the troops now.
