Okay, my cat is a year and a half years old and had 4 kittens 8 weeks ago.
Due to the kittens being fully weaned we arranged an appointment with the vet for her to be spayed and checked over (for she was very skinny, though this was probably due to the kittens)
Anyways the night before the vet she threw up and had the runs.
She got spayed and the vet said she seemed in fine health and was prob skinny due to the kittens which i had already assumed.
Though she has thrown up a couple of times since the vets last week and her poo is still not... normal. (she insists on using the kittens litter which is how we know...god forbid)
Im worried about her and she seems a little lethargic, though she has always been a lazy cat.

The vet should not have spayed her! She wasn't well enough for such a big operation and he/she would have known that! Take her back to a decent vet ( i'm not saying anything about you, you wouldn't have known the vet was just out for money! ) and explain the situation, your cat needs looking at. She was still recovering from having four babies, the op shouldn't have been done until the kittens were at least 12/14 weeks! I hope she recovers soon.

I agree w/everyone.....take her back to the vet ASAP. I sounds like she may have a "pylometra" (uterus infection)! They can get really sick and possibly die, if that's not taken care of. I really surprised that the vet spayed her, when she was showing signs of illness! Maybe you DO need a different vet!! Good luck!

take her to the vet. my cat was a guy cat, he got outside and was acting lethargic and threw up. he got really skinny so we took him to the vet. they said nothing was wrong. a week later he was still not back to normal. we took him back to the vet and he died. i really doubt that is the case with your cat but you defenitly want to her back to the vet because something else may be wrong.

My Grandmother had this same problem after giving birth to my mother. We took her to the Vet and he gave her two aspirin. It went away the next day. She also put on weight very soon after that.

she might have a virus or a bug. maybe you should tell the vet about the vomitting and the poo.

well, she could just have some indigestion or something, but you really need to take her back to the vet and tell them all of her symptoms.
