Oh, gosh, I don't know who it is that is trying to frighten you like that, but tell them to take a flying leap, seriously. There are occasional instances of people sharing the same dream, but it's very rare, usually a very close relationship, and both people dreaming of the same thing at the same time. It is very rare for a dream to cause physical harm to a person, I suppose if someone were frightened badly enough they could have a heart attack or something, but cholestrol and bad habits did the damage way before the dream ever got there. I am concerned that someone may be manipulating you though, by telling you that they will go into your dreams and make you do thier will, and that is a really awful thing to go around scaring someone that way, if someone is trying to do that to you, tell them to get lost, and mean it.........I have met someone along the way who was angry at someone, and projected himself to that person's house, but in a lifetime of 47 years, I have only ever known the one person, and he was not able to do that sort of thing at will, he didn't enter the guy's dream, it was an astral projection, if anything....it just happened the one time for some reason. But then again, the guy who had made him angry may have just been feeling guilty about it and imagined the whole thing, too. There have been rare times when someone has sent a telpathic message that they were in danger to a loved one in a dream, but it wasn't an intentional thing, and it had a push by intense emotions that propelled the message, it wasn't something they did intentionally.... Freddie Kreuger is a fiction, nothing more. Anything is possible, I guess, I woke up with a cigarette burn that occured in a dream once, but really, don't let people scare you, or tell you that they have some sort of power over you, if they do get power over you, it will be because you handed it over to them.
Edit: Egads, after looking over all the answers, I am starting to wonder if the purpose of your question is that you want someone to tell you how to go about threatening somebody in thier dreams. It seems as though nobody is telling you what you want to hear. If that is the case, assuming I did know how, I wouldn't hand that sort of power over to a stranger, and especially not one who wants to use it against others. If that is the case, you don't need power to hurt someone in thier dreams, you need counseling.

Your dreams are your own. You may have similar dreams but never the same and Freddy is a made up character in a rather pathetic excuse for a movie. You may dream of conversations with the dead but they are made up in the sleepers mind. You can only be hurt if you sleep walk and then ususally not. This is information from someone who wants you to sleep well and stop getting crazy by movies and books that are ment to disturb your sleep. Try reading something funny before sleep.

No one can hurt you in your dreams but they can certainly give you a good verbal slashing if they wanted to. I think that there have been some cases of people who dreamed they were being hurt and then woke up to find scratches on their bodies. WHat came first the chicken or the egg? I think they experienced the scratches first and thenn dreamed about it. Don't believe a thing you hear about Freddie Drueger, he is all Hollywood. Not based on fact, not based on anything but peoples fears. You ahve more to fear from humans than ghosts.

Well not I dont think they can kill u like freddy has...
I do think that relatives can speak to you in dreams, but if they do & they are dead in real life, it is a bad sign.
Yes I think people can have the same dreams, whether it be the same night or not.
Yes we can be hurt in dreams. This has happened to me several times. I would wake up with places on my body, that were injured or touched in the dream.
But I guess its all in what u believe in.
Believe the magic of your dreams

Well about 9 years ago my younger sister and I had the same dream. We were both in the dream too. We couldn't believe it, but it happened. So, Yes you can go into other people's dreams. Strange, but true for us.

No, no, no, and no. Your dreams are inside your head, nowhere else.
If you and a friend experience something in real life together (like a car accident or something frightening), you might both dream about it simply because you both are thinking about it. But there is no psychic connection between any two people during dreams.
You can be hurt if you sleepwalk, but that's different than dreaming.

I'm guessing your12 I was going to go with 10, but you can spell. Have you ever spoke to Granny or aunt Ruth in your sleep?
If we could talk to our relatives in our dreams it would cut down on the phone bill,no I don't believe we can talk to people while we sleep. Can you imagine answering your sleep phone, "hang on mom, I'm on the other sleep phone"
Not for me, when I go to bed I want to sleep.
God bless

I know for a fact that people can be hurt in their dreams--- if they have a strong connection with another person.
I have a brother that's less than a year younger than me. Whenever he gets hurt, I manifest the symptoms.
My children witnessed it one day. I took a nap at 4 pm, woke up screaming that something fell on my thumb. Meanwhile,I hadn't seen my brother in a month. Anywho, my kids helped me clean up my bleeding thumb. Within a day the nail turned black. Two days later, the nail fell off. My kids called their uncle and he came over, came into the door and I heard him telling the kids to remain quiet. He walked into my bedroom, held up his right hand and his thumb was bandaged like mine. He took the bandage off as I did the same and both of our thumbs looked horrible. He then told me that at a few minutes before 4pm three days before, he was bowling. He put his hand out, waited forhis ball to come forth when another ball, a sixteen pounder, came out and smashed his thumb into another ball. His nail fell off like mine. He said I'm incredible. I just wish there was some way to stop this. Another time I was sleeping and at 1am I dreamt I was drowning in gasoline. I got up gasping for air, told my husband that I couldn't breath and he opened the windows for air. My brother came home at 4 in the am. He immediately went to the bathroom to take a shower. He came out and told me that he got sprayed by the gasoline line that leads to the planes that he filled at the airport. "This was at around 1am, right?" I asked. "How'd you know?" he asked. "Because, I woke up drowning in gasoline. So yes, we can get hurt in our dreams.
