Sure, you may not believe in him...BUT... why answer the question then? Nobody asked for your two cents worth anyhow. That's just not an answer, why not just skip the question. I find it just rude...Obviously the person who asked the question believes in God or is asking it hypothetically therefore God existing is certain.

Thank you also for proving my point.
REAL answers are appreciated.
And God does not exist is not "the truth" it's your opinion! And not a legitimate answer.

Okay an atheist that makes sense!
In-a-handbasket is the only one brave enough to acknowledge the fact that the words "God is not real" alone does not an answer make!

I would say you are probably right, depending on the question. Just the words "God isn't real" don't address anything unless the question is "Is God real?". I don't have a problem with someone saying this in an answer, but I would hope they would at least expound on it.

Why do you're saying that God is the only sufficient/ authentic looking answer? For you it might desire to be yet for others, no longer lots. Too ambiguous. remember mythology and the gods of war, love and fortune? Romans and Greeks have been very beneficial of themselves too. at present all of us comprehend that become bloody no longer likely. maybe we are nevertheless infantile in our reasoning and interior the destiny it is going to become extra sparkling. consistent with probability no longer. consistent with probability the residing will in no way comprehend. Civilization is youthful. We additionally used to think of the worldwide become flat. found out in any different case as technological know-how and technologies more advantageous. 1000's of years from now, we are in a position to additionally be seen as infidels and narrow minded, possibly, even stupid. I fairly have an open recommendations and could stand by ability of the theory that we are evolving and no one has the respond,

That makes sense. But it is an open question so anyone can answer. If the person who believes in God can ask the question, than the person who doesnt, should be able to answer it.

This is because questions about your various gods DO influence the lives of those of us who do not believe in them. For instance, even though I do not believe in gods, it is important to me to convince others that religion should not be used as a tool for spreading misery, since that misery affects innocent victims like, well, me.

As an example, there is a headline story today about the religious exemption from giving kids proper medical care. This affects me because 1) I do not want to see kids suffer and die, and 2) these kids might spread their diseases to me or my kids (were I ever to have kids).

Religion, and thus ideas about gods, affect even those of us who don't believe in them, particularly when religious people insist on making religion a part of public policy.

And sometimes, when a particularly bothersome religious policy gets inflicted on us, we feel obligated to point out that that policy has no rational basis, for instance because there is no good reason to believe in the god behind the policy.

It's just as legitimate an answer to theists quoting the bible when asked to prove that the bible is true. Just doesn't work that way. NE WAY, probably saying that god doesn't exist as an answer to your question won't be helpful.

I don't think that's an adequate answer. That's like asking a question like, I dunno, if a tree falls in the woods, does it sound sharp or natural and then having someone say "There is no sound because there's no hard evidence of the tree having made noise when no one is there to observe it."
You weren't asking whether or not the tree made a sound, you were asking about a quality of the sound.

How can telling the truth not be an adequate answer? Obviously the most important thing about gods is that they don't exist.

If the question was asking about Star Trek plots, wouldn't you consider it sensible to point out a similar flaw, no matter how hooked the questioner was?

Religion is, to some of us, considerably less plausible.

If someone asks a question in an OPEN FORUM, then they are stuck taking the answers they get.

If you want people who agree with you 100%, then why not go chat on a Christian website?

I hope you don't take this as an insult, but trying to rouse someone from the fog of delusion (sometimes with a rude slap) can be perceived as a charitable act.
