emergency. Is this connected to ABS

I just disconnected the connector(2wire) from the side of the master cylinder and the light remains on. Does anyone know where the switch for the emergency brake is located? Is it under the center console?

I took the wire off of the master cylinder that would eliminate the float. I did check the float.
Since the idiot light is 1/2 intensity I believeit is a short. I am presently looking at taking the dash out and checking voltages on the control lights.

I took the dash out and found the wire which is feeding the brake light. I followed the wire to different locations and pulled and tugged. I put it together and light is out.
No I do not know what cleared it up.
Thanks to all.

You might have an actual pressure imbalance in your braking system. I'd take it in for professional analysis.
One quick test you can perform yourself is to press HARD on the brake pedal while you are stopped with engine running. If that puts the light out, you have an internal leak somewhere.
