The fender flares on my explorer are broken and cant find xls model ones for a good price so i want to know if i can buy some xlt model ones that are a little cheaper and if they wound fit right

Yes they will.

yes they will. the olny difference between the XLS and the XLT is that the XLT has more options. such as: like power windows and locks. maybe a V8 engine, CD player etc. Ford uses the same body for all the Explores produced in 2002. so YES your fender flares will fit the XLT.

Try jumping it again. Wiggle all (4) the clamps until you see them scratch the terminal. Leave them for 10+ mins. May want to rev up the vehicle doing the charging (1500-2000rpm). Take it somewhere and have the battery checked. If it still just clicks, but doesn't turn, try hitting the side of the starter (bigger metal cylinder part) with a hammer while someone tries to start it.
