When i put a font on a New white blank space the font turns out all faded or blurry && spotted, also the size of the fonts are proportionately off, like 12 pt looks like 7 pt. Can someone help me?

.:I tried the canvas size. It didnt change anything && its not an image its a new canvas with my text on it. =[ Gosh i need this fixed.

You probably have a very low-res image.
Go to like Image --> Image size, and under DPI or whatever it says, put something around 150 to 250

In Paint Shop Pro, which I use, when text is first placed, it is a Selection and if I move the cursor to it, the cursor changes to a + with arrow heads and I can move the text around. The Selection is indicated by a 'sparkling' edge of moving lines which can easily overwhelm the outline of the text. Further, the foreground and background colors define the edge and the fill of the font. If you have black and white as fg and bg, then on white background, the edge simply disappears.
Either set both fg and bg to black before doing the font or (if yours works like PSP) select black as the two colors in the text dialog box.

check the canvas size or you might have a filter on, check the history pannel as well
