There's this tree in my backyard, and i have no idea what kind it is. Here's some information so you can maybe help me.

It has large flat leaves that are extremely smooth on one side, and kind of rough on the other.

It has stalks that grow from the stems that kind of look like larger versions of green-beans.

The bark is a gray color.

It drips tree sap in a brownish color.

Please help....

It may be acacia.

There are a number of trees fitting that description. What state you are in would help. My first guess is redbud. If the flowers are pink to lavender with heart shaped leaves 3-5 inches across.

May be an "acacia"..It is a tree originally from Australia..In Europe is very diffused..
