It means, use common sense in your life. If there are a set of facts, such as wax will melt in the sun, then apply those facts, such as keeping the wax out of the sun, instead of ignoring the facts, maybe to do something fun or that u want to.
Use common sense.

1. Better learn everything you can about your prospective spouse before the wedding so you don't make a fatal mistake. But once married, do NOT notice and pick up on every little thing. Don't nag. Stop finding fault. Let the little things go, because they can destroy a marriage. 2. Once your reputation has been questioned, you will never be fully trusted again. When doubt has been raised, a whisper of it it lingers forever. 3. We rarely wish for what is in our best interest.

Samurai Benjamin Takeshi Franklin was known to say:
Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
And
If your head is wax, don't walk in the sun.
So, if your head is made of wax, you must stay worried and full of stress. Ponder this well.

If you have an obvious weakness, then don't put it to trial. It's like a redhead lying in the sun all day - they will get burned! Or someone allergice to .......nuts, knowingly eating nuts. I think that's what it means anyway.
