A cry.

A soldier in the desert, dying.
An orphan, scared and lonely, crying
Where are we to hear and see?

A mother with a Qur'an praying,
Another with a cross, both saying:
"God, bring my son back to me."

Peace tells freedom how truth is hiding,
Justice dies as we're all dividing,
And people just fail to see

The enemy is all we're seeing
We've forgotten the human being.
Is war worth the agony?

We're judging without empathizing.
How can war be, at all, surprising?
*Sigh* what a conspiracy.

A few men's greed leaves millions starving,
Complicating people's surviving...
God, on all, shed your mercy.

Ignorance kills every hope standing,
Hate can blur our understanding,
Tolerance needs patience, see.

Can we start some progressive thinking,
To stop tomorrow's ship from sinking?
Dreams don't come true that easy.

I think its a great poem! Very relevant.

Here's mine:

Insanity
4 November 2006

I suffer for my sanity
With turmoil deep inside of me,
A never-ending malady
From which I fear I can’t be free.

For everywhere there is a judge
Whose intolerance will not budge
And for nothing will hold a grudge
For race, or sex, or life they judge!

And so it seems there’s no relief!
These people even judge belief –
More harshly than they’d judge a thief!
And so they spread an endless grief.

Now everyone should just be free
And learn to let each other be,
And yet it seems some just can’t see
And make this world seem so crazy!

So many never hesitate
To show off their mindless hate,
Or tamper with another’s fate
A hunger they can’t seem to sate.

So will this ever go away?
I fear that this is here to stay
As many know no other way.
I hope that it can end one day!

I suffer from insanity –
From all the madness that I see
And all of the stupidity
That fills the world in spite of me!

I have read the poem and it's very real ! It's straight from the heart!

We cannot answer to a poem ,but most of us feel what every mother, child , or parents feels , but we do not have an answer to it . We only can hope!

I wish that we could all live in love and peace.

there is not any longer something like a honeymoon stretched for all times time. an afternoon like this, after some years of marriage, is a demonstration of mutual love, the place the (actual) cherry is on the (emotional) wedding ceremony cake. while physique language is in fee, its result's magical. that's what this Villanelle tells me. and that's authentic. certainly an relaxing study from a golden pen.

In the last line, "easily" would scan better than "easy".

Other than that, not bad.
