Starbuck's is a great place for a first job and they pay reasonably too. I believe they tend to pay around 8 or 9 dollars an hour plus tips and benefits as well for part time employees.

Another great first time job is at the grocery stores. They are all union jobs (which means that you pay a premium to be part of it usually) but the pay is great as well.

As far a sites, I can't think of any that deal with the newly employed but a talk with your school guidance counselor may help too.

Most everything pays more then min. wage now days in Vegas. I know kids at burger king making $10 per hour.

You have to think. What are your skills? What makes you worth more then the min. wage? Do you have experience?

Everyone wants more money but there needs to be a reason to pay you more.

At 17 you are not going to find a site with jobs. Just get out and put in applications and get the job. Go for jobs you have skills or experience for.
