I love to make icons/avatars and I also have a contest site on myspace, but when I try to make icons,avatars, and site model signs for my contest site they dont look good!
All I have is paint workshop and its not what I need
So all I need to know is if there are any free but really good programs I can use to edit photos

I use Photofiltre. ITS GREAT. Its just like photoshop but free and you can download it off the internet. And if you want to download cool fonts to use on your signs you can go to www.dafont.com
